Beautiful Lima and delicious looking food! π
Fuertes abrazos hermanos asiΓ‘ticos… que todo les vaya bien.
Saludos desde el extremo sur del PerΓΊ.
Greetings.
You went to places recommended by Netflix, that is, by tourists, most of them are located in exclusive places in Lima, where most of the true Lima residents do not live, Americanized areas.
The real places where they prepare a thousand times better than those promoted places, are outside the tourist districts that travel agencies advertise (districts of San Isidro, Miraflores, Barranco). They are places in Lima where most Peruvians eat: restaurants, Huariques, chifas, etc. Lima has more than 40 districts to visit.
The specialists in PAN CON CHICHARRON prepare it in "EL CHINITO", instead LA LUCHA was created in exclusive places to try to imitate that of CHINITO, that's why they became famous; but it is recognized that they have a greater variety of breads with other meats.
causa limeΓ±a , papa rellena , ceviche , trucha, paiche ,etc….. el colca , cahuide monument , takanakuy ,etc

Arroz con mariscos is not fried rice, itβs indeed a paella-like dish, fried rice can be found at chifas
I love your reaction, guys. You should go north peru, jungle side and highlands. The gastronomic diversity is wonderful.
Keep enjoying!
Daaaaaang, so do you guys think that Peru passes the 'uncle roger' fried rice standard? do you guys think it even counts as 'fried rice'?
I think peruvian chaufa has become its own thing at this point.
There's a chaufa that uses typical ingredients from the amazon rainforest and its called an 'amazonian chaufa rice' or ''arroz chaufa amazonico'.
so i think that making a chaufa, is kind of like making a risotto, its european in origin, but us latinos have made it our own.
A chaufa is a beloved peruvian rice dish, kind of like a paella, like you guys say.
I am mexican, not peruvian, but i love peruvian food and culture, so its very interesting to me, what a singaporean might think about this, i am loving your peru videos so far, as i want to go there one day too.
La butifarra fue declarado el segundo mejor sanguche del mundo despues de sanguche de Turquia pero vayan al Callso a probar el sanguche de pejerrey delicioso
Fried rice in Peru it's Called "Chaufa"
Greetings from Lima my friends!
