A staple in Turkish cuisine is Turkish menemen, an egg dish that’s eaten for breakfast. We had heard it described a number of different ways, but couldn’t figure out if Turkish menemen was more similar to scrambled eggs, an omelette, or something completely different! In this Istanbul street food video, we head to a well-known restaurant in Istanbul to try their famous Turkish menemen eggs to determine exactly what it is.
Stuffed from breakfast, but peckish in the evening, we went looking for some street food in Istanbul, Turkey, to finish off our day. We stopped in to a local restaurant for some Istanbul street food to try börek for the first time. Börek is a light savoury pastry, different than similar things we’ve tried before. Trying Börek for the first time was a scrumptious experience, best washed down with a Turkish tea.
We hope you enjoy our video trying some street food in Istanbul, Turkey. Stay tuned for some more Istanbul street food videos!

From Steph's reaction after trying the cream, I don't think she saved any for Chris to try! Priceless!😁
Yum! I can’t wait for more videos. You’re doing an incredible job highlighting the food and editing the videos.
Watching Steph try the cream followed by that look of pure joy made my whole day 😍✨
if you like eggs i'm sure you'd like 'cilbir' too, its a turkish dish that consists of a poached egg on yoghurt topped with pepper infused butter, maybe you can find it somewhere. also the 'ciya sofrasi' restaurant in istanbul is worth a visit if you are in the area.
enjoy the travel through turkey and keep up the great content, the videos are getting better each time!
