We’ve arrived in Yokohama! Just a short train ride from Tokyo, this port city has a very different vibe than the capital city of Japan. Even though it’s the second most populous city in Japan, it felt a lot more spacious and less congested. As soon as we got there, we were greeted by the cool breeze of Tokyo Bay.
After a quick lunch near Sakuragicho Station, we made our way to the APA Hotel & Resort Yokohama Bay Tower to drop off our bags and then walked straight over to Chinatown Yokohama, the largest Chinatown in all of Japan! We grabbed some snacks while we walked around this touristy area of Yokohama. Later in the evening we walked all along Minato Mirai (aka Minatomirai 21) and Cosmoworld Amusement Park, home of the iconic Cosmo Clock 21. We grabbed some dinner at Landmark Plaza and a little dessert at World Porters Blue Seal before a pit stop at 7 Eleven at Yokohama Hammerhead, which had a huge range of alcoholic beverages!
