We set out on a Jeep overlanding expedition to create a new and undiscovered off-road overland route across Oregon from East to West, unlocking some of Oregon’s most beautiful backcountry hidden gems that no one knows about. This is part 1 in the series where we discover the weather forecasts are calling for strange conditions the night before we leave with out convoy of four Jeep Wranglers and one Jeep Gladiator.
With the weather driving us off-course and putting us behind schedule, we had to find low ground to brace for a rain and thunder storm making it’s way through Hells Canyon. We hunker down at camp and make plan for how to avoid a June snow storm that’s forecasted to hit just was we are supposed to cross some of Oregon’s tallest peaks.

Itβs amazing to listen to the podcast, and then see it all come together in video a few days later. Thanks for taking us along, Will!
Another amazing video! Iβve been looking forward to this route.
Dude this is awesome!
Great episode!! Looking forward to the future edits. Scenery looks absolutely incredible. Jealous of the long range trails you get in the US too! Lucky to get 6 miles in one go over here.
Once again I'm here at my lunch break watching the premier. My mind is traveling with you Will and for that I thanks you.
Your editing and narrative are so good, I feel I'm watching a television show but way more entertaining.π€Keep the videos coming.
PD Are you planing on going to Smokey Mountain Jeep Invasion next month?
Love it! So when can we get the maps/route for it?
Man that looks like a great trip ! What are those black and orange chairs they look perfect for my set up.
First video of yours that's been recommended to me, I look forward to the rest of the series. Subbed!
Epik video
LOve to watch your adventures and get a few new ideas.
Great start to the series! The amount of time (and love) that went into creating this video is evident. I think Hell's Canyon has been bumped up to a "must do" on our list after watching this one!
Seeing a new video from Venture2roam always makes a monday better! Plus you did a good job of leaving us wanting more..lol ππΌππΌ
A great video and story telling, as usual!
Great video Will canβt wait to see the rest of the trip . Don and Donna Hope idaho
This is hands down my favorite video from you to date! Living on the coast the Pacific Coast never disappoints. Holy green at Hells Canyon too, stunning π€π»πΊπΈποΈ
I've been patently waiting for this..
Thank you for sharing your journey.
I'll bring a few bottles when we go for a run, some things that make Blantons taste like rain water. π Beautiful run yall. Can't wait to get up that way.
Great family adventure! Good to see you out of the garage.
Awesome video! I'm so excited to see the rest. Guess I need to get myself in gear and edit my adventure videos…
Hey Will – great video as always! What chairs are you sitting on at camp? Thanks! Steve
Great video!!! ππ»ππ»ππ»
Really looking forward to this one!!
I have watched a few of your videos in the past and have enjoyed them all but, this one made me hit the subscribe button! I live north of where you are travelling (and across a border) but Oregon is on my list of places to go. Can't wait to see the rest!
love to see your route on a map somehow!!
Another excellent video. Too funny, well not too funny about how we too had rain almost every day on our trip in June. Our channel is about our adventures with our son with Down Syndrome. He and I headed out on Fatherβs Day on our motorcycle for Wyoming. Out of 11 days, we rode and camped in the rain. We now hate rain π
This turned out awesome dude! π
Wow, what a fantastic adventure!!
OK best video so far (again) I really liked listening to the podcast then watching it. pretty sick. nice work Will!
Thanks Will, this is going to be another great series! Looks like a fun trip!
This series is gonna be awesome! I love the teaser at the end.
Having withdrawals since last camping video. Satisfied . Thank you. I know its dependent on the trail conditions but what is the average miles or time to you usually travel in between camp spots?
Cmon Will, your leaving us hanging! Not used to this. I can't wait to see this whole trip! Much love from a fellow Boise-an. β€οΈ Don't forget to find Hindman lake!!!!!(central idaho)π
As a lifelong Toyota guy, I am unsure how to deal with my feelings every time that 392 starts up…
Looks like it's going to be an epic trail. Nice work buddy!
Oregon and the Northwest is on our bucket list! Looking forward to the series.
Danny and Lynn
