Don't be surprised when you get lost even using google maps. Once upon a time I used to find a way out of a subway in Japan after walking far from a station attendant, google said go north, how do I know which direction is north, the path ahead or on the left/right side or the path that I have already passed. It should clearly indicate whether to walk straight ahead, walk backward or left/right, not telling go north-south-east-west direction.
Many things in Kuala Lumpur it's similar Thailand.What do you think?
