Hello! I’m MINORO. My friend went to Tokiwaso Manga Museum. Built in 1952, Tokiwa-so is a legendary apartment where many of Japan’s leading manga artists gathered when they were young. In 1953, Tezuka Osamu moved into Tokiwa-so in Shiinamachi. The following year, he moved to Namiki House in Zoshigaya in the ward. The great masters spent their youth at Tokiwa-so, working hard with each other to open up a new expression culture called “manga”. Tokiwa-so was dismantled in 1982 due to deterioration, but the Tokiwa-so Manga Museum opened in Minami Nagasaki Hanasaki Park. Let’s get started soon!
