Red Brick Island 2023, a summer event that gives visitors the feeling of traveling to Thailand while in Yokohama, is now underway!
This year marks the 11th time that the event has been held since 2011 as a summer-only event that takes advantage of its open location overlooking the sea and allows visitors to experience an exotic atmosphere while in Yokohama. The theme of the event changes each year, such as “America’s West Coast” and “Africa,” and each year approximately 800,000 people visit the event, making it a popular summer event.
This year’s theme is “Thailand,” and visitors will be able to enjoy an exotic summer in two different venue layouts: the glamorous entertainment district of Pattaya with its shining neon signs and the resort island with its beautiful beaches.
In addition, night events featuring DJs playing at popular clubs will be held on limited days. The venue will be transformed into an adult’s paradise overflowing with fantastic lights and chilled, genre-less music. The atmosphere will be different from that of the daytime, making the event even more exciting.
