This fantastic Japanese garden is at the Ninomiya family’s estate in Seiro village, Niigata in Japan. It is only opened to the public once a year for just four weeks. I was lucky to go there on such a lovely sunny day. The sprawling property has some exceptional traditional Japanese buildings that overlook a beautiful lagoon. For me, the highlight of the garden was the rare and unusual turtle shell bamboo. I’ve never seen this kind of bamboo before.

2023年6月10日、6月11日、まだ満開です。See you soon at our rose & japanese garden.
