The bullet train from TOKYO to KYOTO (with JR pass) Our experience on Japan’s Shinkansen

We took the Shinkansen bullet train from Tokyo to Kyoto and this video will be a look at our experience riding this high speed train. We used our Japan Rail (JR) pass to travel on the Shinkansen.

We took the Hikari 641 and hoped to see the beautiful Mount Fuji on our way to Kyoto. Unfortunately Mount Fuji was unavailable at the time of filming, but instead we will show you where to pick-up your JR pass at Tokyo Station, two delicious bento boxes and the train experience itself!
