Hayabusa is a Tohoku Shinkansen bullet train that started operation in 2011.
It runs at a maximum speed of 320 km/h and connects Tokyo Station to Shin-Hakodate Hokuto Station in 4 hours and 15 minutes ride.
The GranClass service also began in 2011. It is more expensive than the Green Car and popular for its light meals and all-you-can-drink service. It is also recommended to purchase an ekiben (boxed meal) and enjoy it with alcoholic drinks.
The seats are comfortable and will bring you a pleasant experience on your trip.
