I was invited to tour the Russian Moskvich Car Factory in Moscow, Russia. From seeing them in the local dealership, to walking in the Car Factory its self. Seeing the Moskvich 3 and Moskvich 3e come together was a very unique experience.

More than 40000$ for JAC) perfect!
At 3.5 million rubles this translates into almost $40,000. Someone is making a windfall profit on these cars. Essentially the same vehicle in Nigeria can be had for less than half the price, at about $17,000. They wouldn't even consider selling these cheap vehicles in the US.
I also had a Hyundai Getz. It was a great car! I live in Russia.
It is almost $39,000 for an electric SUV. The classic one is around $22,850 (if the exchange rate is 1 dollar to 90 rubles). The prices should be lower, that's for sure.
This is just the first stage of recovery after the departure of Renault. The nest will be moving to Russia-designed models.
Gosh…Thanks Russell, I did not realise these great cars were still being made. 1970s UK saw much of this manufacturer, .along with Rigonda TV,s ect(have one that still works, way ahead of its time!)
AMAZING FACTORY – no robots, no people, no nothing, almost a PERPETUM MOBILE 👍
3E at 3.5 million rubles ls $38,000. That would be 3 years salary for a person in Moscow. The plant is not even operational.
Maybe they should convert and start making T-34 tanks.
Thanks Russell. That was an incredible and fascinating tour of a car factory in Russia.
I have a Toyota Highlander Hybrid. I've had Toyota Hybrids for the past ten years.
Where Russian designers, all copies
Kiitos
Not MADE! Assembled only.
Really like the video!!
Factory seems to be operating at only 20% of its normal capacity. Seems to just be assembling at the moment. No actual making.
So to be honest: the components of this car are made in China, shipped to Russia, and assembled at the factory. Is that right?
Great Video, Thanks, what an eye opener, very cool.
I had this model in 1967. It was the strongest car
🚘🚖.
Another great and interesting video, I would like to see more similar videos. From Geoff in Melbourne. Australia
Nice cars indeed. Instructive and interesting video, as usual. Thank you for taking us along!
Very impressive. I like the design of the car. It's very stylish. The factory is very modern. In January 1978 I went on a tour of the Ford assembly plant in Dagenham, England. I don't know if it's still there. I don't own an electric car. I have a very vanilla car, a 2013 Chevy Cruze. I was concerned when I saw you in the car about the car's suspension. However, I gather it survived.
Moskvitj and Dacia same shit
Beautiful car wish it was available in the US.
It’s pronounced “ moskvich” not moskovich
