Honestly America is too large. Usually places where people walk more than drive are areas more compacted or urban. While it isn't unusual in the cities, the US as a whole is too big distance between locations for people to walk or bike daily.
Things I have learned from living in Japan, Stay in tokyo if your white, American, or a woman. Why because most of the country is still connected with its old ways treating women allot diffrent and The older generation still hold the WW2 things against you Ecspesially if your American.
Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas eu un petit tremblement de terre, histoire d'avoir quelques secousses en direct pour bien sentir le Japon depuis chez soi. :p Je me demande si vous avez fait au moins une soirée karaoké. Je me dis que ça doit être géant d'en faire une au Japon.
Par contre, je suis en train de penser à Tokyo.Sora by Hiroshi Ishikawa. Il dépeint le portrait de six héroïnes vivant à Tokyo, chacune un peu dans sa bulle. Le film est assez lent, très contemplatif, ce qui permet de vraiment sentir l'état d'esprit de chaque personnage. Personnellement, j'ai beaucoup aimé. A voir ou à revoir.
