As you explore Nagano city, you cannot miss the impressive landmark that is Zenkoji Temple. It was founded about 1400 years ago and it’s still attracted a lot of people’s faith.
Mt. Togakushi is home to Togakushi Shrine, which comprises five shrines spread across the area. In this video, we visited Chusha. There is a sacred cedar tree over 700 years old in the precincts of the shrine.
Kagami-ike sits at an altitude of 1200 meters (3973 feet) within the forest of Mt.Togakushi. The mirror-like surface of the water captures the stunning reflection of Mt.Togakushi.
Togakushi is often referred to as Ninja Village due to its association with ninja culture. The area boasts two spots related to Ninja: Kids’ Ninja Village and the Ninja Museum.
