This is a Tokushima city travel guide vlog (Kazura-bashi bridge) in 2023.
We had a travel 6 days in Shikoku region (3 days in Kochi city, 3 days in Tokushima city). This is 1st part of 3 videos in Tokushima city.
The Kazura-bashi bridge is made of kiwi vines (Actinidia arguta) and is 45 meters long, 2 meters wide. It weighs approx. 6 tons and is suspended 14 meters above the river.
It has a story that Kukai(one of the famous Buddhist about 1000 years ago) or Heike(one of the famous armies about 1000 years ago) warriors has built the bridge. But no one knows the truth.
