Keio Plaza Hotel is conveniently located a 5 minutes walk from Shinjuku station West exit. It was the first skyscraper built in Nishi-Shinjuku and the first high-rise hotel in Japan. It was also the tallest building in Tokyo from 1970 until 1974. They just celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2021.

i´t was a nice hotel! was there in November 🙂
Hi, which room is this ? thank you
I stayed there with my families on the 38th floor for a few days in Autumn 1975 before we went to Osaka then to Okinawa to see World Expo '75.
As a traveler(planning to visit shibuya, daikanyama, kitchijoji, asakusa etc) I'm still considering to stay Keio plaza or hyatt regency..(or somewhere else in Shibuya). Which one do you recommend more? If we stay at hyatt, we will reserve renovated deluxe room.
Could you please recommend among them?
I'm also considering hyatt 1 night+keio 2 nights but it seems quite a waste of time to get back to hotel for second check-in😂
This is our go to hotel almost every time we visited Tokyo. It is one from few other hotels in Shinjuku that served by airport limousine bus so its very convenient. Its just 10 minutes walk from Shinjuku station and easy access to many destinations in Shinjuku area
