I took a walk in Sawara, a town of waterways, Chiba.
Sawara, close to the border with Ibaraki Prefecture, is called “Hokuso no Koedo” and still retains the old townscape full of Edo-period atmosphere.
Walking around the city makes you feel nostalgic as if you were traveling back in time to the Edo period.
