In this video, I’ll be taking you on a adventure through Seoul, South Korea, and Osaka, Japan, as we embark on a Korea to Japan trip. Prepare to get hungry as we take you on a journey exploring Japanese food and Korean food all in one day!

Our adventure began at Ichion Airport in Seoul, Korea, where we discovered a hidden gem of a restaurant serving authentic Korean seafood! The aroma of sizzling spices and mouthwatering flavors filled the air as we sat down to enjoy a delightful lunch. I opted for a steaming bowl of spicy seafood kimchi soup, a classic Korean dish known for its bold flavors. Packed with succulent crab, soft tofu, and a generous helping of kimchi, it was a taste explosion in every spoonful. To my surprise, the soup was accompanied by a whole mackerel fish, adding an extra touch of authenticity and even more protein the meal. On the side, I savored Eomukguk, strips of fish cake, and a selection of pickled vegetables, perfectly complementing the main course. This authentic Korean feast showcased the rich and diverse flavors of Korean cuisine, leaving me craving for more.

Meanwhile, my husband Nate decided to delve into the world of Korean food with a classic dish called bimbimbap. Served in a sizzling hot stone bowl, this traditional Japanese rice dish was a feast for the senses. With a medley of vibrant vegetables such as radishes, cucumbers, and sprouts, along with a whole soft egg, the bimbimbap offered a delightful combination of textures and flavors. Nathan further elevated the dish by drizzling copious amounts of hot sauce over the ingredients, infusing it with a fiery kick. As he mixed everything together, the colors and aromas melded into a beautiful symphony of Korean spicy flavors.

While savoring our delicious meals, we couldn’t help but marvel at the advanced technology present in Korea. The restaurant’s robot waiters provided a touch of futuristic charm to the dining experience. It was a testament to Korea’s reputation for being at the forefront of technological advancements, even in the realm of hospitality.

After satiating our appetites, we were able to catch a quick performance at the Seoul Ichion airport. We attended a mesmerizing cultural performance at the Seoul airport, where we witnessed the grace and elegance of traditional Korean dance. The rhythmic movements, vibrant costumes, and enchanting music transported us to a world of cultural splendor. It was an unforgettable experience that highlighted the deep-rooted traditions of Korea.

As our Korea to Japan trip continued, we stumbled upon an interactive game at the airport. Animated animals playfully guided visitors through martial arts practice sessions, providing a unique and entertaining way to engage with the local culture while you wait for your plane to arrive at the gate.

After bidding farewell to Seoul, we boarded a short flight to Osaka, Japan, where we settled into our affordable Airbnb accommodation. Priced at an incredible $36 per night, it was the perfect base for our exploration of Osaka’s vibrant cityscape and mouthwatering Japanese food.

In search of dinner, we found ourselves wandering through Osaka’s bustling party district, Dotonburi. It was here that we stumbled upon Ichiran Ramen, a legendary establishment known for its delectable Japanese ramen. With bowls filled to the brim with rich broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and an array of toppings, Ichiran Ramen lived up to its reputation as a haven for ramen enthusiasts. Each spoonful took us on a savory journey through the flavors of Japan, leaving us craving more for a future visit.
