五社から成る戸隠神社は神代の昔天岩戸伝説でゆかりの神々を祀っています
天照大神は岩戸にお隠れになり世の中は真っ暗になりました、困った神々は話し合いをして天照大神を再び外へお連れするために賑やかな祭りを開きました
岩戸の外の賑わいを不思議に思い天照大神が岩戸の扉を
少し開けたところで天手力雄命が一気にその岩戸を放り投げたその岩戸が戸隠山となりました

舞楽芸能・縁結び・火防の神として尊崇されています

中社祭神の御子神様で開拓・学問技芸・裁縫
⚪️九頭龍社 九頭龍大神戸隠山の守護神で水・雨乞い・縁結び・天手力雄命戸隠にお招きしたのが九頭龍大神

Togakushi Shrine, which consists of five shrines, enshrines the gods related to the legend of Mukashi Amano Iwato in the age of the gods.
Amaterasu Omikami hid herself in a cave and the world fell into darkness.
Amaterasu Omikami wondered at the hustle and bustle outside the rock door and opened the door of the rock door.
After opening a little, Amenotajikao-no-mikoto threw the rock at once, and the rock became Mount Togakushi.

奥社入口から約15分で隋神門になります門を過ぎると太い杉並木が両脇にそびえ立ち森林浴と野鳥の鳴き声を聴きながら奥社に向かいます、隋神門から奥社までは約25分です

It takes about 15 minutes from the entrance of Okusha to reach the Suijinmon Gate. After passing through the gate, you will head to Okusha while listening to the chirping of wild birds and listening to the sounds of the forest and the thick cedar trees on both sides.It takes about 25 minutes from the Suijinmon to Okusha.
