In this video, we take you behind the scenes of international traveling as a family. International family travel involves traveling to different countries or destinations with your family, creating cherished memories and broadening horizons. For our 5-week trip, efficient packing is crucial. We opt for versatile clothing, consider weather variations, and pack essentials like toiletries, medications, and travel documents. We prefer carry-on backpacks, ensuring convenience and avoiding checked baggage delays. Backpacks also allow us to go hands-free so we can help the kids.

World travel with kids requires extra planning, but shouldn’t deter you from planning adventures. We let the kids pack their own bags, so they can bring their favorite toys, games, and comfort items to ease transitions. Our only rule is that they have to be able to carry them. We always pack snacks and water bottles to manage hunger along the way. We prioritize lightweight gear, to travel light with kids and make the journey enjoyable for everyone.
