Recently I took my first transatlantic cruise to Europe. I visited cruise ports in the UK, Norway, Denmark, the Netherland and Scotland. Here a 30 amazing things I saw on my first European cruise including Loch Ness, the Windmills of Kinderdijk, the National Museum of Scotland, the wreckage site of the Titanic, the Little Mermaid Statue and more.

  2. Thank you for the wonderful video. I am getting so excited for my up coming cruise flying to UK and leaving on a 9 day Norwegian cruise then doing a back to back 12 day European cruise. So watching your video is giving me lots of information. Thank you for sharing❤

  3. It would've been cool for you if you were able to go to the place where Lego is made 😊
Love this video! I was able to go to Europe last year for 10 days, but it's just never long enough to see everything!

  4. In Helsinki I took a walking tits and asses tour yes that was the name they made the same remarks as you mention it wasn’t always appreciated they had pictures of petticoats over the statutes in the early 1900

  5. Hi Tony. Doug (not THE Doug) from Townsville, Queensland, Australia. Have been to Plymouth twice and stood at the Mayflower steps. Not sure if you noticed nearby a wall plaque commemorating the departure from Plymouth on 13 March 1787 of 2 ships transporting convicts to New South Wales, arriving 26 January 1788 at what is now Sydney. So the beginning of 2 modern countries has connections with Plymouth. For my family, it is also significant, as my Great Great Great Great Grandfather and family left Plymouth on 30 April 1852 bound for Australia. Isn't history great.

  6. So glad you enjoyed Rotterdam. It was very nostalgic seeing our apartment bldg just across the Swan bridge. I'd love to see Oslo and Copenhagen. Glad you had such a great time.

  7. Being English and married to a Dane it was great to see what you found interesting in both of our home countries, glad that you enjoyed it all.

  8. Scotland is on m bucket list, but watching this made me consider Denmark & Norway also.

  9. Thanks for reminding me how cool the Edinburgh castle is and Loch Ness. What is this a single itineraries cruise or what is it a series of cruise itineraries?

  10. I literally just left Copenhagen, Denmark, today . I had seen all the local landmarks it was beautiful .

  11. A very nice travelogue. We love going to England and look forward to going back to Scotland as it has been a good while since we were last there.

  12. Thank you so much for the highlights of your tour. It was lovely to see the places in England and Scotland that I have been before, brought back many great memories. Makes me want to go to Europe and see the places that I haven't been. Thanks again.

  13. Did Jenny go with you and if so what was her thoughts on the trip.. Thank you for the journey… Very nice.. You are the man..

  14. Hey, Tony! You’re our favorite cruise reviewer. We think we have you beat on intense upcoming cruise (see below). Before I ask my question, let me answer one of YOURS…We totally like you better as a spaz. I relate because my mum and I ca-ruuuse a lot and you’re the same age as me, so I appreciate your opinions even more. We’ve got 2 back to back cruises coming up on the same ship: The Island Princess, leaving in about a month. We’ve watched many of your reviews, and while you’ve touched a few places, (Denmark, Sweden, Scotland) we haven’t seen much about where we are going; primarily the Baltic countries. I should also say, RC is definitely my favorite cruise line. For this trip, however, we’re on Princess, which has always seemed to me like others feel about HA… old people. I also hate sea days, especially when there’s just old-people stuff to do. Probably why I enjoy RC, I’m your age. Anyway, these are the ports of our itinerary we haven’t been before. if you’ve done these cruises or been to these places, please share your thoughts!

14-Day Scandinavia & Baltic Collection : Bornholm, Denmark; Visby, Sweden; Tallinn, Estonia; Riga, Latvia; Klaipeda, Lithuania (We’re actually going from Riga to Vilnius over night, then catching up in Klaipeda); Gdańsk, Poland.
14-Day Icelandic & Norwegian Fjords – Haugesund, Norway; Alesund, Norway; Seydisfjordur, Iceland; Akureyri, Iceland; Grundarfjordur, Iceland; Reykjavik, Iceland.

  15. Looks like an amazing trip and I love Leeds Castle. NB the last King of England was William of Orange in 1688. Since then all monarchs have been monarchs of the United Kingdom.

  16. What a wonderful video. I enjoy hearing your daily news blogs but this one was a wonderful surprise. Some very iconic places visited on that cruise. Thanks for sharing @lalidoloca!

  17. Tony, This was an excellent video. I had the privilege of being on the Rotterdam during this same voyage and experience many of these shore excursions with you. Your video really did an excellent job of showing off the highlights of this wonderful cruise. Thank you for taking the time to put this together.

  18. Just returned from a cruise around the UK. The Titanic Experience in Belfast is not to be missed. Also The Book of Kells and the Old Library Long Room at Trinity University in Dublin. Just so much to take in. I need another visit🤣

  19. Just finished a TA on HAL and went to Dover, Rotterdam, Amsterdam as well as Ireland, Azores. So much fun. Canterbury cathedral was unreal!

  20. Tony,, that was one of the best videos I’ve ever seen… – Ireland and Scotland are just awesome.. – So much history, it kinda takes you back in time.. – Wow !! 🌷
