Poor Scout. Couldn't you cut a piece of reflectex or cardboard and velcro it over the skylight? Then you could put it up and take it down, and the velcro can be removed later. Or any similar idea. π
Even though I will never need these tips I like knowing what others need to do amd know for a successful (Alaskan) RV holiday. I find it very interesting and informative. Thanks guys for being so generous with your info and time to explain it all. β π³π± ππΌββοΈ π³πΏ
Ok I pull a 40β fith wheel and want to make that trip. I understand I may be limited to where I can park it. Do you see many there and do you think renting a class c from there would be better. Did I mention I love my fith wheel.
I canβt get enough of these videos so I want to thank you very very much.
Great tips! Thanks for sharing. π
Super great video Katelyn and Howard. Lots of information on traveling in general and for RVing. Peace and Calm. ππ»ππ¨π¦
You all should get a medal for making the trip from the Keys to Alaska with the expedited portion through Canada!
Very nice trip. I have 2 questions: When is the warmest time to go? The price of gas I suppose is more expensive than here in California. Thank you for sharing your trip and information.
Great video π you guys are having to much fun πtake care of the dogs π
Looks great and cold π itβs stupid hot here and yβall are in jeans and sweaters. I canβt wait to get there and I totally understand the maps. Iβm wondering if Elonβs Starlink will change all that. We ran into no cell service in WVa on a road trip. Stay warm π₯
Gorgeous video as always!! Alaska looks so amazing! I didnβt know there was an AirB&B for RVs! So cool.
Thanks for the good tips when going to AK.
Donβt remember what video Katelyn asked about gluten free items, but here are some suggestions. My doctor had me go gluten free in January 2020 so Iβve tried a few things. For regular sandwich bread Franz white bread is my favorite. Itβs soft and seems most similar to regular bread. SchΓ€r makes hamburger buns that are super soft and has a good consistency. They are perfect for burgers or pulled BBQ chicken sandwiches. (Found at Walmart). Goodie Girl gluten free fudge stripe cookies are fantastic for making sβmores (Iβve found it at Walmart). At Kroger stores I have found Pamelaβs honey Grahamβsβ¦ also perfect for making traditional sβmores. I really like the flavor, even my husband thinks they taste great. Only problem Iβve had is sometimes the pieces are broken in the package when I open them. I emailed the company regarding that issue, but never heard back. Iβve bought them again because the flavor is that good. For pasta Iβve found success with Ronzini brand (found at Kroger). Iβm not a fan of the spaghetti noodles, but the rotini and macaroni are great.
Awesome tips! Hope I will be referring back to this in a couple of years!
Where should we camp-great video! Some of those meals looked amazing…-awesome tips! . All the best.
Nice video! We will be at Alyeska next week for one night on our way to Seward, then Homer. How did you pay to park the RV? Just park in the gravel lots outback without calling first? I got the same Lion Energy batteries a couple of years ago at Costco – love them. FL Weekend Warriors
Any effects of the earthquake? Hope your both safe
Iβm trying to catch up since you kicked these out so fast, very nice and detailed tips one thing I find amazing is U2 as a couple seem seamless I donβt know what life was like before you met each other but it sure seems like youβve been together for centuries you get along so well!
Thanks for the video… we have the same RV…. I have a 2018 VIEW… what kind of suspension upgrades did you do do your RV?
Right about Seward reservation only. They also more than doubled the price for camping at city owned campgrounds. Very upset with the city of Seward I know costs go up but from $14 a night to $42 is just a little to high.
Want to really see Alaska? Get off our few roads, simple.π³
My tip to cover the skylight in the bathroom closet is to use pop up car sunshades. I have used them to block light in my home skylights and windows, etc not just my car windshield. The spring can help hold it in place or use command hooks that it would push against.
What would you do w dog if you took ferry?
Which campground in Seward would you recommend?
