This travel route explores the Ridge Route Road between Gorman and Castaic, California. The road was opened in 1915 as a connection between the California Central Valley to the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles beyond.

Great tour of the Old Ridge Route. I live nearby, but have never explored this area. Today I will take the drive!
from the beginning to about 9:40 in your video, you are driving nearly on the San Andreas Fault
There is a small section of the original road that has some Model T tire tracks imprinted in the concrete between Liebre Summit and Tumble Inn.
