At Manshoji Temple in Sendai City – Japan. I’m walking in the Japanese garden at the Manshoji Temple in Sendai City. My company are today only singing birds. I’m going in to the beautiful Manshoji Shinto Shrine which is part of Japanese religion. Buddhism and Shintoism coexist in Japan on an equal footing. Buddhism is regarded as a philosophy of life, while Shintoism this philosophy perfectly complements. It can be a bit complicated for someone who has never been in Japan. In Shintoism there are many deities responsible for any aspect of daily life, and the Buddhism is a philosophy aimed at self-improvement. I babbled a little about religion, but I come from a country where such coexistence would be practically impossible. Spooky Shrine guards. And here’s a small monument to those who loved their home pupies. People still leave them a symbolic treats and water to drink. Isn’t it sweet? See you soon.
