  1. Looks great for such an inexpensive camera. I just bought mine to shoot an indie documentary. I was unaware it shot 24p. Is there a manual exposure setting to control shutter speed?

  2. Thank you. Nicely done video presentation but I feel like these images are very soft , there just isn't enough of sharpness. I think my Gopro has sharper video than this camera. I am looking at getting an inexpensive video camera but I do not think Vixia will be my choice.

  3. Great looking video friend. I like the choice of music too. One possible suggestion would be to have the scene changes occur on either the down beats or the upbeats of the music, but consistent to one or the other. It just seems like it would tighten the production a bit. Thanks for sharing with us.

  4. Some people may not like these cameras. But let me say. I have the hf r 500 and it's good but once you get into editing what ever one you use. I use power director and you can color grade any film and give it that cinematic film look.. ya jus have to make the best out of it .. I like these camcorders.. good luck to ya all..

  5. Wow – great to know this kind of quality is possible on the Vixia. Anything special used for stabiziliation or was most of this shot handheld?
