  1. Enjoying your vids, getting some local gen before we arrive. Thank you. If I hear a tall chap with a S. African (or thereabouts) accent I know who to get a beer.

  2. Thank you for this awesome video. I loved the drone footage. My favourite line: "Can we get an Uber?"

  3. Hi, Nick and Charlie. Loving the boyscout look. Also loved the shot of the subaquatic dunes but I'll give that footy 'pitch' a 1/10 😃. I was impressed and pleased that you stayed off the booze, but then you let me down. Having said that, I would have just stayed at the restaurant and ordered another round. Well done.

  4. Hi Nick and Charlie — wow! This was so much fun watching and it truly had me on the edge of my seat. I'm an avid "walker" clocking in anywhere between 8 to 12K a day and doing this in all seasons as much as I can. Seeing you both venture out on this hiking trip was truly a wealth of adventure through the intense heat. I so much enjoy the "drone" aspects as well as your hand held camera footage of the detail visuals. Those amazing "dogs" were such a delight and great company, I liked how the hiking trip offered a glance of seeing so much details that you would normally not see when driving. I'm getting ready to head to South America on a one month scouting trip to see what my options are for venturing out after many years in the U.S. working in the "core" of corporate America. However, Portugal is on my list as an option and I have been viewing and researching through your channel and others the possibilities that Portugal has to offer. I hope after this South America trip that I can reach out and inquire through your knowledge on making plans to visit Portugal and what may work for my needs.

Keep creating these travel adventures of Portugal and its wonders truly this brings so much value and appreciation to your viewers and it enriches our minds with much pride for learning the history that is so much needed to be share of such an amazing country… Be bless, be safe and don't forget to always be kind – Dory

  5. Another great video Nick! Loved it and watched twice. I liked the part where you talked about the touching moment when the dog came back to find you. I remember when I had MY first beer. Speaking of the libations you two enjoyed, one question came immediately to mind……Do they have DWI laws in Portugal? And that next day when you felt like a Zombie? Here in the States we call that a hangover. Cheers and well done!

  6. Also, I couldn't quite hear the audio but did you refer to your banana hammock as a budgie smudger?

  7. Another wonderful video! Thanks to Nick, Charlie and the fellas for bringing us along. I visited Tavira, now, three times and recalling seeing footpaths next to the rail line so I appreciate much of the area shown—albeit from a different perspective. If it was me, I’d probably walk from Tavira to Pedras d’el Rei and take the bus back. 😂😂😂
Someone off topic, is the mountain visible on the right at 8:34, Sao Miguel (@ 410 meters)? I see it everywhere in the eastern Algarve. Cheers. 👏🏻

  8. I've only been to Olhao one tme but I immediately recognized where you stopped to drink. 27 km in over 30 C! I cannot imagine trying to do half of that.

  9. It wasn't the heat or the 27km, it was the lunch break!
I want to go there and Uber afterwards! 😊

You're right Nick, that drone footage is amazing! Great job!

  10. Just beautiful!!! ..the acoustic guitar playing while the drone circled around the white sand separating the rippled blues and greens of the water against a stunning sky. Magnificent footage, Nick. Thank you for taking us along. M

  11. Absolutely love your cinematography, narrated part fits so nicely! Great content my friend!

  12. As always, another great video Nick! Having been inspired to move to the Algarve by your original Algarve Addicts series, we are now living in Tavira for the past 2 years. I ride the route you walked just about every week on the Ecovia, though on an e-bike and without the beer, wine and medronhos breaks! 😅. You stopped at my 3 fave places in each area. Good on ya! 👏👏👏

  13. Base Salt… It's a product I'm going to start using I had a friend who's a iron Man recommended to me… I guess you mix it with a liquid hydration drink… It's got minerals and stuff in it on those really hot and humid days
