1. Snorkeling and diving are some of the best in the world.
Belize has some of the best snorkeling and scuba diving in the world, which may be the primary reason the country is on your bucket list. Coral and marine life is rich and diverse since it is home to the second-longest barrier reef in the world (after the one in Australia). Off the coast, there is a gigantic circular sinkhole known as The Great Blue Hole that is 354 feet (108 meters) deep and 984 feet (300 meters) broad. Although it’s intended for seasoned divers, beginners can reserve a helicopter trip for an incredible aerial view.

First thing to know: anything that lives in the ocean gets left alone unless you’re going to eat it. Period.
I am traveling in the end of May 2023 but now I am nervous because that doesn’t seem like an ideal time to visit.
Love it
Sunset at our home in Placencia.
I just left Belize yesterday. It was so beautiful and a perfect place for an adventurous vacation. I booked accommodations in three areas of the country: the keys, along the coast and ended my trip in the jungle on the western side. I would add one more thing that makes this country great is the multicultural communities you’ll find across. Visit Hopkins to experience he Garinagu people’s food and culture or Toledo and Cayo Districts where the Maya people live and their cultures are celebrated. Spending time in these areas meeting locals was a highlight of my trip and something one shouldn’t miss!
The roors are headed to aruba and gentleman ate headed to curacao at the beginning of june.
