  1. I had the feeling of a super crowded plane recently, when I flew with Ryanair with a Boieng 737-8200 and there were about 200 passengers on board.

  2. 460 people times $150 is $69,000 dollars and if you add any extras they paid for luggage and food easily a $72,000 revenue flight … not sure what the profit margin would be on that.

  3. Cebu pacific is nice for flying inside the philippines but not for a longtrip. To bkk is ok but thats like animaltransport😅😅

  4. Most people fly Cebu Pacific, even though Everyone knows it's a Shitty Airline. Why? Because it's cheaper than PAL. Customer Service is Non-Existent. I am guilty of flying on it myself, for relatively short flights. Anytime I fly internationally, it's always PAL, Delta, Singapore Airlines….You get the picture…..

  5. Who the hell or what is a Kenny Rogers Roasters? I live about 40 miles from Chicago, btw.

  6. Being as uncomfortable as you appear, wouldn’t work for me. You head looking like it’s crammed up against the bulkhead of the plane. My question is what if there’s bad turbulence, you’d end up with brain damage. Especially sitting over three hours.

  7. To be fair though, Cebu Pacific caters mostly to small to medium sized asians especially Filipinos who averages at most 5'4 to 5'7 in height. Cebu Pacific started and is still a budget carrier who first wanted to give a chance for Filipinos to travel at a lower price per seat, allowing them to use the savings on their trip instead, and they want also to cater to Filipinos who are living/working abroad (OFWs) with a way for them to come home and see their families and get back to work in a pretty affordable price. Leg room wise, it is not great, but for us small Asians, it ain't bad either.

  8. I mean I'm super impressed with their ability to pack their planes, 460 seats is beyond insanity. I just watched your Manila > Dubai video, and to see you back on one of these flights again is a testament to your… dedication…. 😉

  9. i wanted to try the a330 but cebu pacific changed the aircraft to a321s so maybe next time (probably not with them, they're too strict with the amount of checked baggages like ryanair!!)

  10. Did you know that Cebu Pacific changed the air travel in the Philippines, and because of Cebu Pacific all Filipinos (Juan) have a chance to fly. Back then, Ferries were the most practical and economical option to travel inter-island.
And it was also the period when thousands and thousands of Filipinos who could not afford to travel by air with PAL died every year in sea tragedies. And one of the worst sea tragedies was on December 20, 1987, the MV Doña Paz, a passenger ferry bound for Manila, collided with an oil tanker carrying 9,000 barrels of combustible petroleum products, sinking the ferry and resulting in more than 4,300 fatalities and only 24 survivors in one of the world's deadliest maritime disasters in history, killing more people than the Titanic disaster that killed more than 1,500 people.
My parents, uncles and aunties told me that they couldn't afford to fly back then, they couldn't afford to travel by air when Philippines Airlines (PAL) dominated the market during the 1970s and 1980s. As it was the sole domestic airline, Philippine Airlines (PAL) was virtually monopolizing the country's aviation industry.  1974 – PAL continues to dominate the industry by having the monopoly on domestic travels. Air travel was a luxury. Flying was very expensive, PAL's ticket from Cebu to Manila was more or less 6K and during 70's, 80's and 90's it was too much, the PAL base airfare in 1980's or 1990's cost 6K or 20K in today's peso. It was very horrible; it was very awful; they could not afford the air fare; it was ridiculously expensive. Flying during those days was a luxury, and the flight attendants were unfriendly and unapproachable; they thought too highly of themselves, being overweening and overbearing, especially to the Overseas Filipino Workers.
Fortunately, when Cebu Pacific started flying, everything changed. Air travel became very accessible, available, friendly, fun, and affordable, and all Filipinos can now fly to their favorite domestic and international destinations with high quality and friendly service at an affordable price. We're very proud and very thankful to Cebu Pacific. We love Cebu Pacific. Cebu's flag carrier. Cebu Pacific is the largest and the leading Airline in the Philippines. Cebu Pacific is the most popular in the country. CEB operates the widest domestic network in the Philippines. Cebu Pacific is now a household name.

In January 1972, Philippine Airlines became a monopoly in domestic air travel after the late Dictator and Kleptocrat Ferdinand Marcos (by virtue of his powers under Martial Law) ordered the foreclosure of two other airlines – Filipinas Orient Airlines (FOA) and Air Manila Inc. (AMI). Marcos implemented a one-airline policy.

  11. I now live in the Philippines. I see that both cebu pacific and Philippine airlines have been hauled in front of the.government in order to explain their shoddy service. Apparently, 40 to 50 percent of flights depart late. When I'm hopping around the Philippines, which is quite often, I always use air Asia. A much better service.
