Planning to drive (or walk) in Cairo? You need to watch this video.

You’ll learn:
• Why it’s important to get enough cars to follow you into an intersection
• When you can drive the wrong way down a major highway.
• What it means when a driver is flashing his lights at you.
• Pedestrians do NOT have right of way.

And most importantly, a guaranteed way to find a parking spot for your car in one of the most overcrowded cities in the world.

Also… the Egyptian afterlife for cars and upgrading your lowly Kia.

  1. If you also own a luxurious car or a car that is rare in Egypt, it would end up getting damaged as well.

  2. اول مرة نزلت شوارع القاهرة كنت على وشك كتابة وصيتي

  3. I have an idea,
    step 1: buy a tesla
    step 2: go to Cairo
step 3: Set to autopilot and watch what will happen

  4. Loved your video Madame. That's the Cairo I know. I was driving in Cairo in the 1980s and 1990s.
I see that nothing has changed. Please, post more videos about life in Cairo.

  5. how hard is to put some traffic lights and paint lines on the street? I come from a third world country and I was surprised of how horrible their traffic was! I don't think is the money, It's their culture the problem

  6. well, i'm not an egyptian but i've been living in egypt for the past 10 years and believe me after 10 years Egypt traffic and the way of driving here have never ceased to amaze me up until this day, taking a public transportation is like watching a horror movie especially in downtown cairo and near cities, i'll never be able to drive in here

  7. Curious in these countries, do the young people just jump in and drive right away when their able to?

  8. I am Indian , i think i would be able to drive and enjoy here. Can't say for Europeans and Americans 😂

  9. There is no point in using the horn if it can mean everything, from "I'm turning left", "right", "run for your life", "hello, sexy", etc.

  10. I just got back from Cairo and it was the most crazy place I've ever been in terms of driving, I thought I'd seen road danger travelling in Asia, south America, south Africa but nothing comes close to the streets and highways here especially at night, every car is trashed, people drive the wrong way up highways, horses, animals and people walking between cars at speed then to top it off vans stopping in the middle of highways people just getting out and crossing the road, first place I've ever seen families of 4 on a single motorbike, I loved the experience just be prepared it's more crazy than the videos make out.

  11. I enjoyed this video so much. Thank you for spotting on Egypt 🇪🇬 (me beloved country)

  12. WOW this would not be possible in my country, there would be so much road rage, and people getting attacked while in there cars.

  13. Are you sure pedestrians don't have right of way? They're certainly acting as if they have right of way. Although having said that, so is everyone else 🙂

  14. Crazy how in the USA most cars I see are very modern… here it’s so out of date looking 😢
