Small island located in the Inland Sea of Japan. It is known for its large population of wild rabbits that roam freely across the island. The origins of the rabbit population on the island are somewhat unclear, but it is believed that a few domesticated rabbits were released on the island many years ago. With no natural predators and an abundance of food, the rabbit population thrived and multiplied.
