I got up early before everyone else today to do a final walk-around in Otaru.
I looked up on my phone that there was a fish market close by next to Takashima. However, when I arrived it looked as though they were prepping to sail out. The small island in that area with all the seagulls squawking was Benten Island. My guess is that they were here for whatever leftover fish parts the market doesn’t use.
