“Saphir Odoriko” is a new train that began service in March 2020, connecting Tokyo and Shizuoka. In addition to the comfortable feeling of riding a train with all green (first-class) seats, the large windows allow you to enjoy the view better.
This time, I used the green seat for the trip and the premium green seat for the return trip, but both were very comfortable, and the time passed very quickly.
There are also dining cars and booth tables for groups, so you can enjoy the ride alone or in a group.
