  1. What Domestic or International Hiking Trips do you have planned for the rest of 2023???
👇Let Us Know Down Below! 👇

  2. I did the TMB in 2019. Pretty sure you don’t need your filter..there is clean water all around. I own one of those collapsible bottles, but don’t you have trouble filling it?

  3. Hey Darwin – don’t pronounce the “c” in blanc , you’ll be better received by the French !

  4. When you plan to stay in cabins at the TMB I would consider a pair of flipflops, 1 set of non-stinky civil clothes and earplugs

  5. Not sure if anybody mention, but I also like and apprieciate you using Fujifilm 😊 I love my oldschool X-T1 with 18mm f2 + 35mm 1.4 combo. Such good cameras.

  6. Happy to see you tackling the TMB 🙂 Would also very much recommend the Italian Dolomites, though camping is kinda prohibited there.

  7. Does the enigma pack down smaller than the revelation? I have the 20° revelation and am having a hard time packing it down to a decent size :/ any tips from anyone?

  8. Arrived home yesterday from completing the TMB. Absolutely stunning hike. Did it over 7 days and would definitely go again. Enjoy!
They’ll probably be gone when you get there but beware of the snow bridges.

  9. I did the TMB in the early 1990's. In those days we camped where ever we ended up at the of the day and basically lived off of bread and cheese. We encountered more cows on the trail than people! In any given day we only saw a few people. No hut nights and no permits. No lightweight gear either. Sorry, but we just didn't give a sh$t about gear back then. I can't imagine not sleeping out in that terrain. I'd bring a tent. I realize that I won the birth lottery in getting to hike some of the great trails on this planet before they were "discovered", described in excruciating detail, Youtubed, put on an app or added to a top 10 list in National Geographic (which is basically the kiss of death for any natural environment). In any case the TMB was magic for me. I hope some of what I experienced is still out there. IMHO skip the huts.

  10. Hey Darwin…this might be a strange question but did you play sports in high school or college? You look tall and athletic.

  11. Man you are definitely the GOAT. So much talent with the camera. It’s always a pleasure to watch you talk. I don’t know what type of education you had but whatever you had was high standards and made someone unique.
