The Walking Dead 2 Skid Row Homeless Encampments Los Angeles, walk with me thru the heart of skid row with people walking aimless down the streets, similar to the walking dead. Trash everywhere but no government officials to be seen. Rats are everywhere and come out of the drains and are spreading disease here to include bubonic plague. The Homeless Problem in America is now in most metropolitan areas and look no further than Hollywood, Burbank, Sun Valley Downtown and now expanding east and west. Sacramento, San Francisco all Major Cities in California are inflicted with this disease.

Yikes that's really bad the city of LA still haven't fixed the skid row homeless problem a city should not look nor be like this this state keeps going down hill.

These people have no incentive or motivation to get themselves out of this situation. They just take hand outs.
I live in Los Angeles. In fact I've lived in downtown for almost 40 years. There had always been a skid row. But it was confined to about 6 square blocks on the east side of DTLA. Overwhelmingly people with mental health and substance abuse issues.
This was created by politicians. I remember hearing the news that day that the Mayor AND the city council ORDERED the police to leave the homeless alone. IOW DO NOT ENFORCE THE LAWS. This is part of the progressive ideology that "being homeless is not a crime", etc… It is no coincidence that this coincided with the legalization of Marijuana (what do you think drug dealers are going to do if it is legalized, become used car sales men??? No they just became respected business men, but are just as violent. and increase marijuana's potency). Add in the propositions that were deceptively mislabels that reduced felonies to misdemeanors and emptied the jails; NOW exacerbate it by claiming it is a housing problem and VOILA!!!! Here we are . The same happened in Seattle and New York. Don't tell me those people sleeping in tents mumbling to themselves are getting up to go to ANY job every day. We don't have this problem in Beverly hills, or Torrance or the San Gabriel Valley IN CALIFORNIA. Why because they are not progressives. They enforce the laws.
The states politicians are falling over themselves to get money to build MORE housing making a lot of people rich. They spend BILLIONS and make 50- 100 units…for close to 100,000 homeless??? I know of non-profits (HOW IRONIC) that get contracts to help the homeless and HALF their budget (from the Government) goes to administrators. YEAH. The CEOs of these" NON-PROFITS" bring in 500k a year in salaries. Almost nothing goes to solving the problem.
WE ALL KNOW THE SOLUTION!!!!. 99% are still mental health issues and substance addiction. Enforce the laws, arrest people that are clearly a danger to themselves and others and once in jail require drug rehab AND fund mental health institutions. The alternative is to bring in the military round them up. take them to camps in the Antelope valley or one of the deserts…OUR Military went to Afghanistan and in weeks built roads, schools hospitals etc…
But NO ONE in progressive governments wants to solve this. Their priority is making sure you do not deadname(not calling someone their preferred pronoun) THAT will get action from Law enforcement with the backing of the City Mayor and Council IMMEDIATELY!!!!!

Send the new Illegals Biden invited in there….give them a taste of the American broken dream….. many of the Venezuelans who recently entered don't want to work so this is a perfect place for them….and many of them are mulattoes….. half black….. So they'll feel right at home with the rest ….. free food n rent….. the luxury life……😅

Everything’s done for these people but having their butts wiped. It’s time for the United States to get into the new millennium. Number one they should build 10 x 10 stainless steel units that have a little bathroom and a large enough for just two people only and 10 should be ripped down and people placed into these units. The government should confiscate all buildings that are vacant abandoned Eroding uncapped and tax is not paid under eminent domain take the buildings make these 10 x 10 stainless steel units make it like a hotel maybe four flights high in cage all the walkways and making sure that the entrances to all of these are on the outside of the structure so that people can be seen going in and out cameras be put out there Also benefit cards for food should be used at key food kiosks. Also, these homeless unit should not be in the way of businesses. These units 10 x 10 would only allow them to take enough items in it so as not to be spilling out onto the streets, anything outside the unit should be removed and trashed. I see people standing here in line to get food. They should have some kind of card that gets punched every day so that they know that they’ve received at least one meal coming back for seconds is greedy. We are allowing we are in Abeling these people to be homeless I’m surprised we’re not sitting there and spoon feeding them.
STUPID system. They create homelessness through the economy, and then feed them at the midnight mission. The drug cartels are allowed to make more money by selling more drugs. This is a vicious cycle and will never end. The researchers can conduct studies, write papers and theses. The journalists can continue making films and documentaries. There is not end to it.

To have a place to live today you have to make at least $40 per hour to have car , insurance , house , food , Medical , gas , anything less you're in the poverty group living in your car or on the streets
But BILLIONS to Ukraine.

Homelessness is a dysfunctional economic system and the development of skid rows can only exist on the back of developed cities infrastructure (the countryside is a lot less forgiving to the poor which they tend to avoid). Benefits, charity, aid services and drug dealing provide the economic momentum to sustain these communities which then acts like a magnet for other people to such areas. It becomes a self sustaining and growing problem. The diversion of resources and costs to deal with the immediate situation cloud the issue but the only effective solution is to stop homelessness before it happens and then work the other issues including drug use systematically by targeted effort. Easily said but the political will needed is sadly lacking. God bless all the victims, rich and poor.
Once again it's mental illness, and druggies. These people don't want help. There is sooooooo many programs out to help the ones that want it. They don't want to get clean to help themselves. City needs to purchase a few acres and put wall around it and it should be the only place where a tent can be. Not on sidewalk. Whole area stinks of piss and chit.
