This is a day in the life of an American and Japanese married couple living in Hirosaki, Aomori Prefecture, in Northern Japan. We use a mix of English and Japanese in this video with English captions to make it easier to watch!

A little about me:
I’m Rose and I am from California, USA. I moved to Japan in 2013 and now I live in Aomori Prefecture with my husband who is Japanese. We both have day jobs but we work from home which gives us more time to spend together.

The city we live in has a long, snowy winter, but it’s really beautiful in all 4 seasons. I’m planning to make more videos in the future showing what it’s like living in the Japanese countryside, so please subscribe to show your support and to get updates on my channel!

Thanks for watching and see you again soon❤️

  1. I love these images from daily life. I hope you will keep posting them. They may be ‘ordinary’ to you, but they are special and informative to many others. 👍🏻

  2. Wow that's a lot of snow, it reminds me of Tahoe in the Winter. Those snowy sunsets looks quite scenic too.

  3. Hi Rose, i wanna ask about weather in late november in aomori. Is it already snow there in that date? i plan to visit aomori just to see snow on late november, (couple of weeks again).
hope you can answer. thank you and happy for you and family

  4. Wow, that's a huge amount of snow!! I'm originally from the SF bay area, we get no snow, unless a rare cold storm hits us. Take care!
