► WHO AM I?
I am a Brazilian-American journalist living in Florida. After traveling the world working with sports, news, and events for over 15 years, I realized that what I really love is the travel part of it all. So I exchanged life in the newsrooms and stadiums for the daily challenge of being an independent content producer. I created this channel to share the beauties of the world… stuff that, for so long, I only kept to myself. Also to help people planning similar trips and to inspire more people to venture out and enjoy life!
P.S.: The funny guy who appears in the vlogs is my husband, Gordon. He is Canadian-American, and he’s actually camera-shy. That’s why he’s behind the camera most of the time 😉

melb. cbd is now a sh!thole
ACDC, INXS, Little River Band, John Farnham, Tina Arena, Olivia Newton John Farnham, The Easybeats, me and many more, all started their careers in Melbourne.
Melbourne is the worst place to live in Australia. Run by a dictator.
Oceania is no way a continent. ;It is merely a region made up by commerce for the convenience of commerce.
Welcome to Australia. Your videos highlight the amazing diversity of my favourite city to visit. Always something interesting to see and do. You capture the city beautifully. I live 2 hrs north of Melbourne in Shepparton. Love watching your videos. Especially when u went to Bali and Indonesia.
Melbourne used to be great but after the last few years with Daniel Andrews and his evil Vic Police force it has been turned into a gulag.
I won’t visit the place again. You can have it.
شكرا لكم.. تعرفت عليكم في تغطية نهائيات كأس العالم في قطر… تحياتي وتقديري
Welcome to Melbourne ,the largest city in Oceania!
Thanks for showing my graffiti in your video🍻
Nice.
Unfortunately, you have only scratched the surface. The PARIS end (top) of Collins Street has some amazing Heritage Buildings.
They didn't visit the Botanical Gardens, Alexandria Gardens, Olympic precinct, St Kilda Beach, Melbourne Central…and the list goes on.
As a Melbournian and delivery van driver in the city for 5 years i can tell you that the amount of people who daily trek around the city during the day has halved, post pandemic height.
Traffic is far less and the hustle and bustle of the city is not what it used to be. A good chunk of people have gotten used to working from home where possible.
I am sure that is the case in a lot of major cities. It will take time for the amount of people to get back to levels post pandemic.
So come and support Melbourne CBD at your leisure as well as your own local city when you are at home.
I love Australia for one reason, they banned guns. They actually had a government that stood up for the people.
Definitely consider Perth as well while you're down under 😊
As a Canadian, I just came back from vacation from Australia. Loved it! The beaches are amazing!
Wow! You two did a great job showcasing my home town. Makes me proud to be a Melburnian.
It's not one of the world's most livable cities anymore thanks in part to people like you.
I've been all over Australia…..& Melbourne was my favourite city.
It's a cultural capital, vibrant, so many cafes & restaurants, friendly people and a great night life.
Can not wait to get back there.
I’m someone that is born and bred in Melbourne,
What most people don’t know is the lane ways you visited have a very interesting feature, they were used for something totally different to what they are today..,
They were used to collect people’s sewage,
as most outer suburbs have laneways in between two streets, as they were also for the Shit Carter’s to collect waist without people seeing it getting emptied and you couldn’t smell what was happening just outside your back fence 😂
Those trains have an another name too! "Tram".
Really impressed by your knowledge, and how positive you are! Hope you enjoy your experiences in Australia.
Cảm ơn rất nhiều thank you so much 🎉🎉🎉
Wherever English speakers went – the so called 'anglosphere (US, Canada, NZ, Oz) – they did seem to leave behind as legacy quite liveable places . But caveat (1) I might be bias being English speaker and (2) they did destroy/crush indigenous/ native culture wherever they landed/ invaded. So . . . . there is that —-on the downside!
Miss you Melbourne..since we moved to NSW
cool
I swear if this is some American I honestly sick of u guys
And it is all above island country continent
I like the Canadian more than the American more respectful and polite
Wow your videos very important for us. cheers a bunch my dear sister 🙏🙏❣️
Australia❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Very unfriendly city with two immigrant nationalities in the city that make it even more individualistic, unfriendly and egoistic (referencing the second immigrant identity)if that’s possible. Shallow fake hipster people. No personality or depth. Horrible city
Bye Bye America! I'm moving to Australia!
Are things more expensive than other metropolitan cities?
Because of the Australian sun and even during winter, it's mandatory for all primary school kids to wear sun safe hats! 😁
Ameii!!
At least 50 million english speaking human beings with no criminal records want to immigrate to Australia immediately. Please take us to your country and let us live in Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Darwin.
Are you portuguese?
I live in Australia
Very good ❤
Hallo sir Apde A VA Alg Alg video Tama mane rooj YouTube ma mane moklju ne sir
Good
Are you fliming on your phone? quality is great. Also im from Melbourne and the video is awesome.
Brilliant!!! I really enjoyed you and your presentation of Melbourne. Very informative and interesting.
Melbourne is far from the most livable. It's got a bit of nature that's nice, but overall it's pretty dull. Living in this city can also be rather frustrating.
For starters, the houses are built for hot climate, however most of the time Melbourne is not even close to warm so waking up in a 12 degree house is very common.
Also, many people in this city seems to have anger management issues. So many angry people. I often wondered why. However, if you spend most of your time debating whether to freeze indoors or turn the crazy expensive gas heater on maybe it does make people angry. Not only is it expensive, gas heaters dry out your skin and makes you sluggish.
If you are thinking about moving here, think again I say.
If you enjoy an insular community go for it. So insular the biggest sport is one that is unique to Victoria alone. The immensely important Aussie rules football. The sport no one outside of Melbourne cares about. Yet, of course, they will talk about it with great passion, shit on all the other sports in comparison and be so proud of their insular game. The arrogance is almost impressive. It makes me laugh and think how ignorant it is. But I just let them be, let them have their little moment of glory. A bit like the sport itself where you get a point for missing the goal.
I've lived in different parts of the world. Most places I've stayed in has an ingrown humility towards the place. Humble in the way that people are proud of their city or country however, they are aware it also has downsides. This doesn't exist in Melbourne. The toxic positivity is numbing. Forget having a different view, perspective or preference, you will be shut down. You see, Melbourne is the best. In particular those who have never set foot outside their own Melbournian suburb will convince you of this. The best. The best news reporting on some local ladies cat stuck in a tree. The best politicians doing 18 months of lockdowns without thinking of the economical hangover. The best houses with no insulation. The best tax system that is so socialist it makes bloody Scandinavia look extreme right. The best business culture with so much red tape it's almost impossible to generate profits. The best of Melbourne list is extensive.
So yeah, if you enjoy angry people, worst weather in Australia, an insular mentality, tall poppy syndrome and hopeless politicians move here.
As the majority of people watching this clip will be Melbournians, getting all wet watching their precious pride and joy, I'm hoping to get a few triggered comments.
