The first of two Japanese breakfasts that we had while staying at Akan Tsuruga Besso Hinanoza (あかん鶴雅別荘 鄙の座), a luxury hot springs ryokan located on the banks of Lake Akan, Hokkaido. A particularly unique dish was for dessert – it was a Miso (soybean paste) pudding.
