Qatar Airways economy class trip Report flying for the first time on one of the NEW Boeing 737 max 8 from Abu Dhabi airport to Doha international Airport.
We took off around 11:55 am and lined around 12:00 midday in Doha airport.
During the flight QATAR AIRWAYS cabin crew members delivered a snack service which consist of an Arabic Mezze and for drinks they offered orange juice and water.( it is amazing QATAR AIRWAYS offers food on a 40 minutes flight! ) they are one of the favorites airlines around the world.
Qatar Airways recently had the opportunity to add a small number of Boeing 737-8 Max aircraft to its fleet, The utilization of the Boeing 737-8s will add capacity to help drive future growth, especially in short haul markets.
Qatar Airways’ 737 MAX economy class cabin consists of 168 seats, in a 3-3 configuration, Business class 8 seats and feature a total of 176 seats.

Nice flight review. The inflight service is good and adequate for such a short flight.
Thank you for this report. It seems like such a shame that this beautiful aircraft is only relegated to flying very very short flights within the Qatar Airways network. It is apparent from the interior design of the aircraft, however, that Qatar Airways did not equip this aircraft for longer flights. Even so, I still hope that Qatar expands the use of this aircraft to other further destinations, only because it seems like a waste of it's capabilities to restrict this MAX 8 to short-haul flying.
I like the max 8. It's more comfortable than the 320, in my opinion

Huge fairly new airport, loads of empty gates and jet bridges. So why the remote stand? Have Qatar Airways not got the staff to mange them, or are the jet bridges out of action?
It was really cool to see the highway as the plane was airborne in Dhabi & the sand in the air.
