  1. Well I became a non-vegetarian because of this when I visited Japan 😅. But on the second day I managed my meal somehow!

  2. Shinco Chan And Orange Are The Narrators, I love Watching.

BTW, THANKS For These Entertaining But Educational Contents.

  3. I must say, i just wasted my 8:10 minutes on this video, when i read on google that delicious japanese vegetarian food actually exists. She did not talk about vegetarian japanese ramen, vegetarian japanese tempura, japanese curry, vegetarian versions of Sushi and Dashi etc.

Ancient and mediaeval Japan was pre-dominantly vegetarian due to the presence of Shintoism and Buddhism, and animal slaughter was banned there for thousands of years. Meat and fish only became popular with the rise of western influence in 1939.

Many famous japanese samurais like Miyamoto Musashi and others were vegetarians in the ancient Japan, although very few japanese people are aware about their history and culture.

And now in 2021, awareness regarding environmental issues and animal cruelty among japanese people is increasing. Today over 9 per cent of Japanese people are vegetarians who don't consume meat and fish at all. An increase from 4.7 per cent since 2016.

Vegan movement is gaining popularity in the major cities like Tokyo and Kyoto.
The number of vegetarian and vegan restaurants in Japan is increasing since 2011, even in Okinawa Islands also, where fish, chickens and eggs are staples.

  4. Why can't we purchase wheat flour tomato potato oil and other things
And prepare own home made food😂😂

  5. I’ve been wondering about this foreverrrr ty. I’ve been veg so long if I accidentally eat meat I get sick, so I have to be very careful.

  6. I am thinking of telling people that I am allergic to fish, red meat, white meat, and eggs in any country where there is a big meat eating population
