In February 2023 we left our 2013 Ford Transit Connect Micro Campervan parked in our snow covered driveway as we traveled to beautiful Hawaii via plane! We spent the first two days on the island of Oahu in the Waikiki area, checking off some must do bucket list activities including hiking to the top of Diamond Head Crater, eating malasadas at Leonard’s Bakery and visiting the Bishop Museum. Mike also caught some waves during his surf lesson with Hawaii Surf Guru before visiting Pearl Harbor, sipping on Mai Tais at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel and catching a free Hula show on the beach. Our Hawaiian adventures in our 48th state are just beginning!

Solid stuff guys – keep on truckin'🤌🏽 Cheers from London 💂🏼
Thanks for the new video!
Fried Spam is so good with Mac n Cheese…
Cheeseburger in paradise is a must every time I go. Drive to the North shore via the coast, stop at Kualoa Ranch, Lai'e Point, Do that hill to the North shore pill boxes for sunset (I forget the name, but the trail entrance is in the school's drive), drive back down with a stop at the Dole plantation, then turn right to dive at Electric Beach.
A circuit that can be done in a day or in a month…
I'd imagine It was fun and different having another couple along! Hawai'i is a place I'd love to visit!
Wow. That looked like such fun 😍🙏💞
Whoohoo! Welcome back!!!
Hurray you have got the video up.🎉
Your content is always so well-thought-out.
we went to Hawaii 1988, our first night, we went to Sizzler's.
What an amazing few days.
I slice my spam burger patty thickness then fry it. I like my sandwich on toast with mustard. My son's like regular bread with cheese and one likes mayo the other ketchup. I also dice up the slices and fry with eggs and put in toast or a tortilla for breakfast. I love spam but they are not all equal.
Nice to see something from you again. In preparation for your trip to Germany at some point in the future: the special donut from 05:40 is also available in Germany. Depending on the region, you have to order a Berliner or Kreppel. We also have it unfilled or with fillings such as plum, strawberry or fun fillings such as mustard. We don't fry the Kreppel for so long, which is why it's a bit softer on the outside.
Spam means Frühstücksfleisch (breakfast meat) in Germany.
I'm looking forward to the second part of Hawaii! Warm greetings from Germany.
Another great one. Would have loved some footage from Pearl Harbor, but as you mentioned, no filming allowed.
Not Jealous (again)!
Looks as fantastic as I imagine it to be. Looking forward to seeing what you get up to for the rest of your time there.
Nice to see you both on here again
What Hotel did you stay at???
What time did you guys go on your hike?
Love your vlogs. Your faces light up the Hawaiian sky.
Spectacular video, what a experience Hawaii looks wonderful
I worked on Toaster Strudel when I was at Pillsbury R&D. Heather is there any day you don't get sunburn? $125 hotel is cheep buddy! Blair likes to eat, just saying… Spam is what Hormel uses as leftover meat parts, its an inexpensive breakfast protein. Never seen it on rice – probably trying to break it up, not very healthy on it's own. This was really nice. Wonderful Journeys!
What app do you use for food reviews in the area you are visiting? Great video btw!!
Mike and Heather enjoyed your Waikiki video – I know it was just a “mis-speak” but Hawaii is the 49th not 48th State but no matter it’s number it is a great state!
