  1. Churchill shrugged: “As the late Lord Birkenhead said of my father: ‘Mr. Churchill is a man of very simple tastes. He is always prepared to put up with the best of everything.'”

  2. It must be nice! We had to suffer for 14 days in one of the Splendor's superior suites.

  3. State all the disclaimers you wish about video without prior approval, you're not going to bite the hand that's feeding you very, very well. Congrats on making the big leagues of travel grift.

  4. Have you been following the Ruby Princess which seems to have suffered a hole in its hull while docking?

  5. Your laid back style is what drew me to your channel and you kept me enthralled with your top-notch videography. I love your work! No wonder I subscribed to your channel the first time I saw one of your episodes. You have one of, if not THE best site for cruise content. Wish I could cruise with you someday.

  6. I’m saddened for you both 😢😢 that you have to force yourselves to endure these travels to bring them to us. It must truly be so awful that you have to have a go at it again just to make sure you endured it, right 🤔🤣. Perhaps it would be best for you to stay home and have your kids endure the hardship? 🤔🤣🤣🤣🤣

  7. Great video. The highest grade cabin we have been in is a Penthouse. Your. Suite and especially the veranda was HUGE. And quite Expensive. I know you had a good time. Glad you opted for the Sapporo beer in Pacific Rim. 😊

  8. Looks lovely but I was very surprised to see Oyster Bay wine offered. That’s only around $15 a bottle here in Australia

  9. Thank you for your wonderful video. I truly enjoyed it and it brought back so many happy memories.

  10. What a great review, everything about the ship looks amazing (and a world away from the Navigator which we where disappointed with). At Regent’s price point, I think they should use the “quiet box” for their tours, this would enhance the experience. Happy travels 🙏. OTBC!

  11. Rich I really do enjoy your videos but this one for just one day the amount of food is simply gluttony no other words to describe the amount of food eaten. Then we also see a bottle of Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc which is a New Zealand Wine which costs in Australia on average about 15 Australian dollars just short of USD 10 and I will add a good wine for normal people but if I was paying $5000 a day or night I would be telling them where to stick it. In Australia as I said it is about 15 Australian dollars to buy and the venders have paid taxes and duty in the price. Cruise lines do not so et the wine at a far lower price as they do not usually pay taxes or duty so they much get that particular wine for next to nothing. What are you actually paying $5000 a day for. To start with the fuel and oil consumed by the ship is exacty the same as a similar size ship. More crew yes other than that and so called better food how do cruise lines or anybody explain what a passenger gets for $500 a day. I am very sure there is not a thing that is worth $5000 a day.

  12. Once again another wonderful review, not a trip we could ever afford but as always a must watch video.
We are visiting Visby next year for the first time, looks a beautiful town.

  13. That’s exactly what I want to see guests experiencing. Thank you. It looks amazing ………one power ball.🥹

  14. On Seabourn for the first time now and Regent is a better product overall. I don't care for the look/layout of Seabourn ships personally.

  15. Nemanja, that cheeky barman, kept us well oiled with cocktails, in fact we blame him for missing the evening entertainment! We loved our time on the Splendor! Great video, as always, and brought back some wonderful memories, looking forward to returning onboard soon.

  16. I’d need a trolley to carry me off this ship. Looks fabulous. I’m assuming 100% inclusive , drinks, wifi, gratuities, excursions?

  17. You brought back many fond memories of our voyage on Splendor past December. Thank you! Absolutely love Regent and loved Splendor .

  18. Great vlog! The way things are going in the cruise industry, the luxury cruises are looking more and more like the way to go; both in service and… Would you believe it, value for money! Also, as you know my feelings on shower curtains, I saw a vlog on the Cunard Queen Mary 2 Princess Grill suites. Shower curtains! Oh the horror! Keep up the good work while you're minding the gap.

  19. If half of your Regent cruise is booked with Farm Bureau insurance agents, the cruise is basically $5,000 a night to stay in your room. Regent once. Never again.

  20. Okay, I am jealous. It's been a long time since i've been on a Seven Seas cruise, 2001 on the Navigator. I got a very good deal (after 9/11, so I wish I hadn't) it will be interesting to see what has changed.

  21. Thank you for posting. I thoroughly enjoy your videos. We are leaving tomorrow to catch the RSSC Voyager for a 2 week Baltic Cruise. I guess you really have arrived when you start attracting trolls and haters.

  22. This is how people travel when they don't know what to do with their money, because it honestly looks good, but not at this price.

  23. Maybe I missed it, but I'm curious about your choice with this suite for the cruise. You typically have a more modest cabin. What prompted you to choose this one? Did you get any special deals from Regent in exchange for the positive review? Are your revenues from the channel growing to the extent that you can now afford this type of suite?

  24. The real answer we all want to know is if the hand towels were long enough for Helen to wrap around her barnet?

  25. love it!! think I’m definitely with Helen on the gym or sunbathing option, although that gym for a ship looks incredible!

    fab as always🛳️❤️

  26. I JUST FOUND YOUR VIDEOS and i have subscribed they are a joy !!!!!!!!! far better than the other brash talking one i have seen we are avid cruisers and we have tried most lines however we will now try regent after watching this video thankyou

  27. Well that is certainly a very nice way to spend a few days, especially those vitamin drinks, and protein shakes LOL
