We decided on a whim to join the Pyongyang #marathon as a means to visit North Korea, one of our bucket list destinations.
As we are not American, we were allowed to take the train from #Sinuiju to #pyongyang which added an extra element of adventure. As a #southafrican living in #taiwan trying to travel to China there were some visa hiccups that could only be sorted out with a quick trip to #fukuoka #japan .

由於我們不是美國人，因此我們有更多的交通方式選擇進入北韓，這次我們選擇在丹東與旅行社碰面，帶我們坐接駁車橫跨鴨綠江抵達北韓Sinuiju，經過一連串很仔細的行李 書籍 ＆ 電子產品檢查，從Sinuiju搭大約四五小時的火車一路到平壤，沿路上的風光看得出來非常窮鄉僻壤幾乎毫無建設，根據我父母親說法，民國四十幾年的台灣就是長這樣。
