Shibuya is one of the craziest places in Tokyo. Today we’re going to walk around Miyashita Park, an old section of Shibuya as well as a brand new noodle shop we’re excited to try.

Good stuff
I'm interested in seeing the DOTS noodle place. I like places with customized items.
Last time I was in Japan I stayed in Shinagawa Seaside. Just a few minutes walk to shopping, subway, lots of convenience stores, restaurants, bars, everything, and not too crowded. From there I could go anywhere in the Tokyo area.
僕も来月そこで歩きます、楽しみですよ
If there is one thing I have learned from your videos for my trip to Tokyo next year, it's that I HAVE to step up my walking game (no pun intended lol)
Hey, thank you for all those tours around Tokyo. I really love the video you make in the city parcs, specially those a bit hidden from the mainstream roads. Also, I really miss your bike tours !
My wife and I always stay behind Shibuya by the embassies in the beautiful, affluent neighborhood, Daikan-yama from where you can just walk to Meguro River.
Thank you for another great video! I can't wait to go in September! Hoping to run into you guys! LOL
Great video! Have you ever done a video in shimokitazawa? It's somewhere I want to visit next time I come to Japan.
Toooooo noisy city
Thank you for the video, love when you and Satoshi walk around different areas of Tokyo, as well as places in Japan, especially tabieats. Have you ever done a video walk of Ebisu, our favorite area to stay when visiting Tokyo. Just one stop on the Yamanote from Shibuya, a quieter and less hectic area. The former Mitsukoshi building has been nicely renovated and transformed into a popular, well used spot. Foodies Garden in the basement is a nice market.
Hi Shinichi and Satoshi good to see y'all enjoying this video love theses Walk and views history of way you walk through thanks for the walk 😘❤️😍🤩🥰🙏💯🌈🌹🌹
My favourite place in Tokyo is Akihabara.
Love it❤
I never really tried skateboards. But skates were my mortal enemy as I have weak ankles thus I cannot skate for long without injury to my ankles and legs. Which is why I was never able to be an ice skater either. I wouldn't be able to walk well for two days after skating of any kind for a few hours.
I loved this video so much, I have been struggling with the heat where I live, that greatly affects my Ms, and this video made my day.
We stayed in Shinjuku and Kyoto, loved them both for different reasons
Never get sick of Tokyo city!!!! 🏃🏼♂️👍🏻
Surprised there were no vending machines
Akasaka is my favorite place to stay
I am Japanese. It is said that in response to a request from PARCO in 1973 for the naming of the hilly alley leading to PARCO, the alley was named "Spain hill"
by the owner of the Spanish style cafe "Arabika" nearby.
I like more peaceful and quiet places, but I am old 😉 so take that for what it is worth
I enjoy your videos none the less and will watch all
I'm sure anyone who visits Japan for the first time knows exactly how you feel.
Hi! Love when you share walks with us! When my friend and I visit Tokyo we usually stay in Asakusa. But we are close to metro or train station so we can travel to different places easily.
I like the suburbs hahaha the quiet shotengai and such. I always go to happy road connected to Ooyama station, and I love the walk from Chikatetsu Akatsuka station to Hokarigaoka park. If I go to more of the city center I usually go to Ikebukuro as it is closest to where I usually stay. And the shitamachi area has a special place in my heart, as a student I lived a couple of minutes from Yanaka Ginza.
I haven't been in Shibuya un ages. At least 10 years. When I first came to Japan 20 years ago I came almost everyday as I went to school there. I used to know the are pretty well but I think now I cannot find my way anymore. Shibuya yokocho looks interesting and during the day not that crowded. If I go to Shinya I would go to the river area. I heard they redid that entirely and that it's supposed to be a nice walk.
I was good at inline skates, could do some of the stunts and tricks as well, skateboard I could do a little bit. When I was a teenager skating was very popular here.
Love to stay in either Akasaka or Sumida. Thanks for thetour guys
Hi Shinichi. Would be great if you can explore Futakotamagawa, Kichijoji and Jiyugaoka areas. There are nice ramen spots, local street food and izakayas. I had a brief visit to these areas many years ago and would be nice to see you exploring and trying out the variety of snacks etc.
One place we enjoy in Ebisu is Konbuya in the Garden Place Glass Tower. Delicious oden with a good sake selection in a nice modern setting. Upscale so more pricey than your average neighborhood oden spot, but good for a date night or occasion. We like sitting at the counter to pick the items simmering in front of us, but the table seats there have an amazing night view of the city. Their tsukune was surprisingly well done and tasty.
Ikebukuro is my spot in Tokyo because my lover stays there. 😆☺
I got lost every day when I was in Japan well apart from one [ 1 ] day lol . One of the days I too was lost in Shibuya . It was A good day out .I just did not get upset about getting lost as this was one way to see things I would not have seen if not LOST .lol
Ah Shibuya! Reminds me of my disco days. Many many years ago.❤
Revisiting areas in Tokyo that you both haven't been to in a while sounds great! I look forward to you trying that new noodle shop discovery as well. ✨ Ooooh, and after the noodle shop, if you find a new place, or revisit an old favourite one for a fruity dessert, please do! I like fruity desserts after a good noodle meal, and would like to request your take and recommendation on it from the Shibuya area. 🍉🍎🍓🍒🍑🍊🥭🍋
Loving these walking tour videos as I get to see how much Japan has changed and can plan my next trip in November 🤗 You always give so much information so thank you! I love staying in Akasaka (where I was a resident for 2 years just before the Pandemic) so that feels like home! So I would love to see a walking tour of this area for any hidden gems I may have missed during my short stay there please?😊
How much were those electric bikes u went past?
So glad that you are feeling better! And thank you also for being open about it. It helps destigmatize these issues. For the past few years, my husband and I have been traveling to the northeast coast of Japan, to the cities and towns that were affected by the 2011 tsunami. It is inspiring to see how people have overcome such a devastating natural disaster and are rebuilding their lives. It also makes us happy to contribute what we can to their local economy by having a few meals there, buying some local crafts etc. People are always welcoming and we love to chat with them as well. Some of the towns we have visited are Arahama, Onagawa, Kesennuma, Rikuzentakata and Minami sanriku. The charming cafe Newsstand Satake in Minamisanriku is a particular favorite that we have returned to. Hope you can travel to some of these places! 🙂
