Today we are doing a full day of thrift stores and second hand shops here in Japan. The Japanese name for them, is “Recycle Shop”, and they are… a place of wonder and excitement! Today we are hitting 6 different shops and looking what they have to offer across the city of Sendai Japan.

  1. Hey everyone!! So it's question time
Which shop was your favorite? What would you have grabbed? And what did I miss?
Let me know in the comments!

  2. I love how organized and clean everything looked, I would probably spend 3 hours in 1 store looking at all those items. It's a 1 Stop Shop

  3. I’m looking for the bulbasaur figurine featured at about 1:22 in the video. If anyone has the name or a link, it would be greatly appreciated.

  4. My favorite shop would be the last, minus the noise.
How much is a car rental for a day over there?

  5. There’s a book off in my area. My friend and I go there for amiibos. I like to see all the random stuff they have. Pretty cool

  6. I feel like you can spend you entire trip in these second had shops. Why does time have to be the enemy?

  7. As I'm moving to the Sendai area soon, I thought I'd have a quick look online to see if there are thrift stores in the area (I always buy furniture from them when I moved in the UK). "I wonder if they are interesting? Time to look at YouTube."

Well, looks like there are going to be a few spots where I may be dropping into in the future!

  8. I wanna go to Japan so bad. Watching your videos makes me do the stereotypical "shut up and take my money"

  9. Tokyo Lens Binge Watch Tour – I will return to the thrift videos multiple times – i just love them all

  13. I love that you visited all these stores, but you moved the Whiskey bottle a tad and left it turned on the shelf! It's bothering me a year later!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! DX

  14. I sent this in a GC consisting of me and friends for Japan trip for sorting stuff n shiz and I'm like hey who pre empt recorded us hitting up all the thrift stores πŸ˜‰

  15. The girl that you said work work work is actually Haidi. A story about a girl from the Swiss alps and her rich friend from the city Clair. Studio gibli with Tokyo’s tv made and created the show. It’s really good with watching.
