Delta Trip Report flying from Stockholm to New York onboard one of Delta’s Boeing 767 in Delta One on an extreme winter morning, with lots of snow and blizzards.

An amazing and extremely comfortable flight onboard the Delta One Boeing 767 class. As we arrived at Stockholm airport we saw that this flight was gonna be a special one: the outside temperature was around -10°C and it was snowing continuously with quite a strong wind, which was creating blizzards. A perfect way to start our trip.

After deicing and anticing the plane, we started our pushback and taxi for departure. Our route took us over Sweeden and Norway, before entering the Atlantic Ocean. We flew then towards the Faroe Islands, which we could see through some clouds. I’d never seen them and it was really amazing. After 2-3 hours we spotted Greenland with lots of Sea Ice around it. 1-2h after that we were over the Gulf of St. Lawrence. We flew over Canada and then entered the United States. After a beautiful approach, we landed in New York JFK 20 minutes ahead of the schedule.

About the onboard service… how should I say it? The amount was good, but the taste was quite disappointing. I mean, it was not bad, but I guess expecting some amazing flavors is normal on an airline’s top class, right? Delta One is Delta Airlines top product and, at least on this flight, I was expecting more in terms of flavor. The seat, however, was very nice and comfortable. In bed position is a little thin but perfect for some hours of sleeping. The crew was very polite.

Now it’s your turn!
Have you ever flown with Delta Airlines? Which route? Which airplane model did fly? How was the experience? Which route did you fly? Have you ever flown on a Boeing 767? Have you ever been in New York? Maybe in Stockholm? What do you think about the Delta One class? Is it worth it?
Lots of things to talk about! Read you all in the comments!!

  1. Delta CEO and Board of Directors should be fed this on a daily basis (esp the Banana Meal at the end)

  2. That's because first class in America is like buisiness class in Europe.

  3. Naming it ONE is misleading. It's just a plain business class and not that good either. No American carrier has a true First class product anymore

  4. Como siempre, una pasada de video. Estaría super bien que pusieras en que fechas grabas los videos así nos podemos ubicar más. ¡Gracias y no pares de hacer estos videos!

  5. Great video!

This catering was at least disapointing…
I have never flown on business class, but I think the food should be better than this, especially with Delta that was known by their catering service before covid.

  6. Always nice if the plane is part of the middle of such a large cloud sandwich.

    Ticket prices are strange.
There was a time when there were three classes: economy, business and first. Business prices were maybe less then 50% more than in economy. Now the price difference is often more than twice.
I think economy class prices went down, compared to ages ago.

  7. food in wrappers in first class is a joke, what have you got to do to get a proper service?

  8. It was useful trip report, because I was wondering, whether to try it or not. Now, I know, that it is not worth of money. So, thank you. I think, Comfort Plus (something like Premium Economy) could be enough for having a space and catering services.
