This is NOT a promotional video. I pay for all of my flights and hotels (and I always tell you how much!) so I can be as honest and impartial as possible. I do not receive any special treatment that wouldn’t otherwise be publicly accessible, in fact, the hotels and airlines have no idea about my visit and that’s the way I like it!

Beautiful spot. Good to know about accessibility
Thanks for all the content mate, really enjoy it. Have you stayed at The Slate in Thailand as I'm thinking of staying there next year?
Thanks
Beautiful place! I prefer this to Phuket to be honest. Even though the villa comes across as a bit tired, I love the style and unpretentiousness of the whole place. Already looking forward to The Six Senses and congratulations on 50.000 subscribers which you probably will have reached as soon as this comment has been posted! 🥳🎂💫🎉
You turned down the food comp?? You’re a better person that I.
Belmond…🤔 mixed feelings about that….
Your channel is the reason I will go to Vietnam Bali or phuket next month
Thank you very much 😊
That issue with the bath tub is not uncommon. That's why I like walk in showers. Thank you for bringing it up.
Room looks worn down quite a bit
Andaz Maui and Hawaii in general does not deserve to get away with charging 1.2k a night in comparison to any of your top properties you've reviewed for in Bali and Thailand.
Americans ruin everything 🙁
Nice video! What does the Thai sentence mean in the beginning of the clip?
Beautiful landscaping. The outdoor scenes in your video made me think that all these trimmed hedges and manicured trees would fall into subtropical mayhem were it not for the dedication of the grounds keeping crew.
9:19 North Short should read North Shore. Kevin is a good student, sometimes daydreams 9/10……..😂😂 Great content, thanks for producing for us.
Beautiful! And… another one for my bucketlist. Thank you, Kevin!
Great review, thanks ( although I do wish you wouldn't reveal the score until the end, I enjoy trying to guess it 🙂)
Another great resort in Samui, but actually Belmond are always a disappointment for me. Their 'classic' style all over the world is not luxurious for me (design wise). Some people love the traditional designs though, especially Governor's Residence in Yangon and La Residence Angkor in Siem Reap. Six Senses and Kimpton surely better choices in Samui though. Thanks for the tour!
My guy, do you have the best job in the world???🎉
Love Koh Samui
I normally stay at the south of the island at Centara Villas peace and quiet than the north
Awesome! I love this style and real wood. Curious how Bensely went from a design more like Aman to borderline garish.
Another excellent review Kevin. BTW have you done any reviews in the AUS/NZL region? Cheers.
Great review like always 🙂,
Samui is an awesome island. I reckon the answer is the PH in NZ 😉
Wow you have 50k subscribers now 🎉
I like the layout of this hotel. Nice grounds. I’m off to Vietnam tomorrow morning. Woo hoo!
Oh wow a zero entry pool that is awesome!!!!!!!!!
Appreciate you addressing the accessibility of this resort. It's definitely not for the mobility impaired or elderly, l think the shower over bath situation is being phased out at a lot of hotels now (where practical) it seems they are very proud of the "terrazzo bath" looking at the website, more a death 🙄. Your meal on the first night looked sensational. The Thai meal on the second is not as impressive. Overall, it looks like a beautiful 👍 resort
We stayed there over the holidays this year for 4 nights as part of an amazing trip through Thailand and Cambodia. 7 of us stayed in a 4 bedroom villa complex. We loved the relaxed, Thai style resort and service. Nothing better at this price point. Our pool was a bit chilly but was just so relaxing. We had good experience at lunch and breakfast and even room service for all of us our first evening served in our outdoor living room – agreed that we had more interesting food outside the hotel.. Nice review – I think we gushed over it a bit more than you, Kevin. It was my friends and their adult (early 20s) kids first trip to Asia and they were gobsmacked when we entered the villa complex. It was a lot of stairs. We’d happily go back again.
any plans going to Manila?
Sorry, but your Aman comment is incorrect.
Do you have any experience with Rayavadee or Phulay Bay Ritz Carlton in Krabi?
Another fun & informative video. Thanks for mentioning the accessibility issue.
Tx for the accessibility comment in this review. I think be good to add an accessibility score moving forward and hope you find a smart way to do this. great production on your reviews!
Your review is great as always. I've been to this Belmond last December (and also the Six Senses), and I agree with almost everything, except the room position. The front row rooms gave me the best sea views i've ever had at any hotel in Asia. The beach is calm, you open your window and listen to the sound of the water, and you see the beach itselt, not only the sea in a distance. I wish i could post a photo here of what i mean. So it definitely worth the upgrade!
Looks really nice and just within my upper budget limit for a resort.
Never been Koh Samui yet but this one will be on my list along with Melia Koh Samui for 2024.👍
i hope u can try the resorts here in the philippines boss..
Thank You ✈️
Can you say something about drinks? How much is a beer / diet coke / still water bottle? Would really appreciate a comment! Thanks in advance buddy
Perfect review. We've been at the Napasai last January for 3 weeks, and I agree with you, except the room position. We didn't had any problem with the breakfast , always good and the good point it's they change every day most of the proposal hotel (important for long stay guest). My only concern like you was the bath…. we have tried few hotels on the island and certainly the best for us of course not for people in search of nightlife etc….hopefully hopping its will stay a seclude and calm resort. Beach restaurant is amazing for the atmosphere and the food, not agree with the restaurants outside in Koh Samui they are not really very good in general especially Thai food as too much tourist oriented. We are already planning a stay next Feb there.
