Arashiyama is located on the western outskirts of Kyoto. You may have heard of the overcrowded Arashiyama bamboo forest here but there is so much more than that. I’ve been here three times, during both fall and spring, and each visit made me fall in love with it even more.

I visited Adashino Nenbutsuji temple and fell in love with this hidden beauty of Arashiyama. It was so quiet and serene.
