Did Kazakhstan also move its capital? I thought it was Alma-Ata/Almaty, but did they then move it to Astana? I used to have them all memorized, but there are so many changes!
Legally and Constitutionally speaking, the United Kingdom doesn't have a capital city. London is the de facto capital as it is the political, economic and cultural center of its most dominant constituent country, England, but there is no established legal status that indicates that London itself is an official capital city.
I notice that you're running the 'boring' Canberra line again. Canberra is a very interesting place to visit, and only a complete moron would say otherwise.
Great video. I've waited all the video for Jerusalem and it's complicated situation, but when I think about it, it probably need a video of its own. Very interesting city. Please consider making a video on it.😊
1:50 The capital with the least amount of people is Plymouth in Montserrat. Its population is literally 0 due to a volcano eruption. However, the functional capital is Brades. 2:35 When talking about the capital when the most people, you only include the administrative city and not it suburbs. If you say that the suburbs are part of the capital, all suburbs are different capitals as well. So there is no way the the metro/urban area measurment can be used when only talking about capitals.
You mentioned New Zealand moving its capital from Auckland to the more central Wellington. But that was the second move. They previously moved from Russell to Auckland.
I was going to suggest that maybe you left out China. Nanjing was the capital of the Republic of China before it became the People’s Republic of China so I wasn’t sure if that fit your criteria.
Switzerland has a capital. Stop saying they don't have one. It is not writen but Bern is the de facto capital.

panama, guatemala and mexico really lazy on naming their capital since they're not microcountry or city statt, especially mexico, they're giant in both area and population
You missed an opportunity to talk about Djibouti's strategic location on the strait of Bab-el-Mandeb, which is the gateway between the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea. A path in which many ships travel, to save time, by navigating through the Suez Canal. And in a time of war, any and every country will want to be able to control this choke point and that is why there are several foreign military bases in Djibouti. This includes the U.S., China, Japan, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and the U.K.
I stopped the vid at 10:25 because my BS-meter broke While it is correct that the swiss flag is a perfect square, why on Earth did you put the image where the Swiss and Vatican flags are falsely shown as rectangles ??? thumbs down and I'm off !
Do Mexico City, Guatemala City, Panama City, etc really count as being synonymous with the country, though, like Singapore or Monaco? They do have "City" in their name after all.
Guinea-Bissau's name comes from the capital of Bissau, meaning basically "Guinea with Bissau as its capital," kind of like Congo Brazzaville. The country was named for the capital, in other words, not the other way around.
Thank you for a well-researched video. Although your mispronunciation of Malaysia's administrative city (not the capital; the parliament, courts and palace are still in KL) Putrajaya as 'Putrajava' may cause a little stir due to its meaning, but I'm sure it was unintentional.
Montenegro only has 1 capital, the city of Cetinje is just a former royal capital, and it just has a special treatment because of history, but politically and geographically, its simply just another regular city

Why would you show Switzerland and Vatican flags as rectangular on a depiction of "3 countries with non-rectangular and square-shaped flags"?
The capitol of Guatemala is called Guatemala-City, as well 🤗
