  5. You guys walked right past us on Rue Tardieu today and my wife literally screamed. Super embarrassing! We wound up having hot chocolate at Carette on Place du Tertre, though, and it was super fabulous. Thanks!

  6. My mother and I ate at La Jacobine today and they certainly do have the best hot chocolate! 😍 Everything else on their menu is delicious too. Thank you for the recommendation!

  8. The best thing in life is to enjoy eating great delicious food with someone you love. Thanks for sharing. ❤

  9. Paris has over 30,000 restaurants, bars, cafes etc. Stop watching stupid videos about places this pair have been paid to go to and experience it for yourselves. There is more to food than making ridiculous faces if something tastes nice.

  10. We went to Jacobine and their hot chocolate was the best! Their raspberry tart however, was just okay. I really liked their rhubarb crumble dessert!!

  11. Hello,

My 3 picks agreed with all the top 3 chosen by Colleen. Thank you so much for introducing Le Loir dans la Théière. I once visited there for cakes but did not know about their amazing chocolate. Light and tasty, my cup of tea/chocolate is the one I will keep going back to. Jacobine chocolate was also impressive, but I prefer the airiness of Le Loir dans la Théière. Thank you again for the information. Your video enriches my life in Paris. Of course, I am subscribed.

  12. That hot chocolate looks delicious. 😋 l can't wait to visit. The dessert is so scrumptious looking. Thanks for sharing your video. 🙏💞🙏

  13. Do you remember which hot chocolate you had at La Jacobine? I’m looking at online menus people have posted and I see three kinds (Azteque, Viennois, and Royal). Also, La Jacobine doesn’t have an online reservation option. Looks like I may need to make an overseas call and hope for the best using Google translate. I’m a little nervous! 😅 Thank you!

  14. Just found you both and I'm an instant subscriber. Lovely video. I want to join and try these delicious things now.

  15. Just went to Angelina’s and threw up from the food. The salmon salad, too many spices I didn’t like it, the water was tap water and tasted like chlorine, the eclair tiramisu was tasteless and the chocolat chaud was horrible.I’ve been in Paris 3 months now and this was by far the worst food I had.
So thanks for your honest review, I will try the others recommended here!

Thank God there are many many places to try and where the food is usually great

  16. Nooo! I can't watch this. I want to be there and have the REAL thing. Great video!

  17. I just found your channel yesterday and I love it!! I can’t wait to visit my favorite city again soon!❤

  18. My husband and I are traveling in just a few days. We are trying to get reservations at La Jacobine. I have tried for weeks. They are not answering the phone. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you! Absolutely love all your videos!

  19. Zum Beispiel heiße Milch mit einer kleinen Schüssel zerlassener heißer Schokolade, was zusammen einen tollen, wenn auch nicht ganz billigen Kakao ergibt.

  20. I never ever pay for light chocolate. It is simply “milk“ with a hint of colour.

  21. I really enjoy your videos, and particularly loved this one. I made a point to visit several of the establishments you recommended, and the chocolate was absolutely stunning.

My trouble is that I look forward to breakfast of a croissant, fresh orange juice, and hot chocolate. So I was incredibly excited to be able to try your recommendations for breakfast, since I have been very disappointed with the hot chocolate I have found for breakfast in Paris (it seems to be a thinner, creamier style rather than my preference for thick and dark which I find in many other places in France, as well as at your recommended cafés).

Unfortunately, I discovered that your recommendations opened a bit later in the day. So… any recommendations for hot chocolate for breakfast in some of the major tourist arrondissements? (For my part, that would be the 5th (or nearby in the 6th).

  22. Hello, you are my travel heros! ❤ I have been in Paris in April and i was so exhited to try the hot chocolate and the raspberry pistachio tarte ❤ what should i say? Better than… 😂😂😂 thank you for your fantastic videos! I send you all the best from Austria! 😍
