  6. 日本人ですら都会に行きたがる人が多いけど、田舎の自然や風景は何物にも変え難い。これが日本という国家のアイデンティティだと思う。
    美しい里山の風景を見せてくれてありがとうございます。

  7. Wow, looks like a beautiful place to hike. We can't wait to visit Japan! What are some tip areas you'd recommend for hiking?

  8. 中山道旅したい!木曽路に行きたい!ほんとに木曽路の景色は素晴らしい!

  9. Ha, I tried to hike this trail from Tsumago towards Magome years ago with a friend. The locals in a bar tried to scare us off with talk of bears, we lied and said we had a tent in the miniscule bag we were carrying. They looked at us like we were morons. We set off at 10pm ish and got to the spot in your video where the route diverts from the normal road to the forest trail. We took one look at that in the pitch black and said "…. that", spent the night in Tsumago trying to find something to do and failed miserably!

  10. Beautiful trail! I did the henro 88 on Shikoku 7 years ago and i'm now on the hunt for a nother trail, not that long as henro 88 because this time our 7 year old son will come with us. Any suggestions?… I saw the scooter😉

  11. This is one of the most magical places I've ever visited, and I've been to a lot of them! Wholeheartedly recommend anyone on the fence to please go and visit. You won't regret it 🙂

  14. This is probably my favorite video from the whole channel. The atmosphere, the beauty and the music gives me this sense of peace that I can't even feel at home. I don't know how to explain the feeling but it gets me really emotional to the point I feel like crying for reasons unknown to me yet also makes me feel at peace and relaxed. Thank you for this beautiful video. ❤

  15. Glad i found your video. It is so therapeutic and much needed therapy for me. The music, the scenery, your friendly voice. Felt like seeing a friend sharing his travel journey. Thank you.

  16. Wonderful video, I will put that on my list for our trip in a couple of months. I hope the trail is good at the end of October. I loved the music.

  17. Now I literally always want to do in that last scene! I love your videos, especially the hiking! You have to do a bit more than the 8 km, you need to go back for your camera at times! Keep the videos coming, you inspire me to get my ass to japan and do some hiking

  18. Thank you for this beautiful video! We walked this section (Magome to Tsumago and stayed overnight at the Ryokan of your vending machine! Hanaya) about a month ago. It was spectacular. Very few people and such a sensation of peace.

  19. Thank you for this video! It inspired me during lockdown to finally go to Japan when we got out. I did Narai through Torii Pass which was amazing but then it got really snowy at -16! I was told afterwards that no Japanese people do these walks in winter, but they're beautiful and should! After that I took a train to get to a bit warmer location, so from the town right before Tsumago I walked to Tsumago, stayed at an old castle, and walked onward through to Magome before taking the train to Nara.

I thought the Torii Pass was the best part of the Nakasendo I did, but altogether the Kiso Valley is so amazing and surprisingly cheap. There was really good tourist information in every town as well, just not on the internet. I wish I was there now 🙂

  20. Watching these kinds of videos feels special, mostly because it's relaxing in a way that only these kind of videos give. I love it, it's perfect!
