  1. You forgot it….Dizin International. Ski Piste at Iran (persian)…it is too big ..morgen than 3500 heigh in top…you can check or search at google…..🤔

  2. Mate, i can tell you that whilst i love skiing up Ben Lomond, you dont often get 3 months of season. Its cool when its on though.
Also they way you said "Tasmania" and "Lomond" made me chuckle, so thanks for that!

  3. Hm, your information is false regarding Mt. Olympus. There is only a tiny military ski center on Mt. Olympus, mainly accessed by military personnel. Definitely not the most famous in Greece. However there is a larger ski resort 30 minutes away (Pieria mountains) and you can ski having great views to Olympus and the whole valley (on good days you can even see the sea!). The footage is from another resort though.

  4. I'm actually going to Lesotho sometime this autumn, kinda bummed its only open from june to august.

  5. My friend Jimmy Petterson has written two giant-sized coffee table books called “Skiing Around the World” Vol 1 & Vol 2.

    Awesome books.
He has skied more countries than anyone in the World:
    75 Countries, all 7 Continents.

I’m at 50 countries, all 7 Continents myself. Stoked on Skiing forever, both of us.

  6. The lodge clip is Mt Olympus in NZ lol not in Greece haha or is there a portal between them wtf !!!!

  7. Well it live w20 km away from the first ski resort in Greece and most beautiful, and less than an hour away from another 3 and Olympus also. Try visit em and you gonna love em.

  8. Such a bad video 😅. At least Google some facts and try to pronounce a few words correctly!

  9. You can't take a rental car up Mauna Kea. Many people say screw it and do it anyway. But if you damage your car up there (eg. burn up the brakes while going downhill) or get stranded and the rental car agency finds out you were up there, you will be solely responsible for all of the damage and costs and not your credit card CDW or personal auto policy since you violated your rental agreement. Do you feel lucky?

  10. I knew people who went skiing in Turkey. In fact there were locals who would put your chains on for you for $10 (at the time). I'm a klutz with tire chains and would gladly pay for a service like that.

  11. How to maximally disrespect nature and climate for the sake of sliding down a slope on one or two boards. Why? Just why? Isn't regular ski madness already enough?

  12. What is Copenhill is nothing new or any special, because that plastic slope was already in 80s in communist countries as Czech rep.,but I have to said that plastic slope sucks, because if you fall down, then you definitely feel it… 💩

  13. "chances are, you never heard of Lesotho"
Actually, I think it's quite embarrassing if someone haven't heard it before. It's a country, and come on guys, there are only around 200 of them. Not that much of a difficulty to learn them all

  14. Nice video and stoked to learn about these places. Watch out though you have a clip showing Whistler Blackcomb speaking about European resorts! hehe but I might be the only one who noticed and it doesn't really affect on how rad the video is. Great work for the travellers!

  15. Hey there, fellow snowboarding enthusiasts!

I just wanted to share my amazing experience of staying in Gulmarg for 2 months in 2011, and shredding some of the most breathtaking slopes I've ever encountered.

The beauty of Gulmarg is unparalleled, with its snow-covered peaks and untouched wilderness. As a snowboarder, there's nothing quite like carving through the fresh powder and feeling the adrenaline rush through your veins.

But beyond the incredible terrain and stunning scenery, what really made my time in Gulmarg special was the people. I met some of the most welcoming, hospitable locals who showed me the true essence of Kashmiri culture.

It was humbling to experience firsthand their resilience and strength in the face of adversity, and I left with a newfound appreciation for the importance of community and connection.

So to anyone considering a snowboarding trip to Gulmarg, I cannot recommend it enough. Not only will you have the time of your life on the slopes, but you'll also come away with a deeper understanding of the world and the incredible people who inhabit it.

Also, if any of the friends I made during my time there happen to see this comment, please don't hesitate to reach out! I would love to catch up and reminisce about our amazing experiences in Gulmarg. Keep shredding, my friends!

  16. Tasmania is definitely NOT known for surfing and sandy beaches .
Tasmania is known for Apples , Tasmanian Devils , Thylacines , inbreeding and Russell Robertson and Jeremy Howe .

  17. Hi there I spotted my content here (Gulmarg). The least you could do is to credit all of the footage being used.

  18. You missed out on Timberline Lodge, Mt Hood, Oregon. They’re open from November to September. 11 months out of the year!

  19. Lesotho is pronounced Le soo too….my profile pic was taken there. There's another resort on the South African side of the SA/Lesotho border called Tiffindell. Spent a week there once and it was brilliant.

  20. Ski Dubai is a blast! It was on my bucket list.

The first runs seem soooo unreal. It's 90 degrees outside and I am skiing!?! But then it was just a nice day of easy skiing – it's a green/blue run. It's just steep enough at the top to get up some speed and make some nice turns. What's really great is that it's open until 11 PM. So, you can have a full day at the beach or ride camels in the desert, have dinner, and then ski for a couple of hours. Not s bad day!

It's located in the Mall of the Emirates, a huge Dubai mall. You walk past Vuitton and Gucci stores and then go inside Ski Dubai. It suddenly feels like the base lodge of a small area. People are "clomping" around in ski boots. You can rent all the gear – skis, boots, ski suit and gloves. You go through two sets of sliding glass doors….and suddenly it's freezing cold! There is a toboggan run and penguin area. There is a big 4 passenger chair and a small poma on the side. The chairlift runs very slowly, so it takes a lot longer to go up than go down. The snow, as you would expect, is perfect packed powder.

I saw a bunch of hot-shot kids running gates – it's steep enough for that. The coach said the kids's parents live there, but go to the Alps in the winter. You can also see the windows of the Kempinski hotel that overlooks the slopes. They have "chalet suites" decked out with fireplaces and look like a sleek Swiss ski hotel – quite bizarre.

Anyway, I recommend it highly. It's not challenging – obviously. But then there is no fear of blizzards or avalanches!

  21. How about honorable mention Mount Baldy in Southern California 10,064 above sea level on the edge of the desert literally looking down to the Pacific Ocean and millions of people in Los Angeles… super steep runs we skied from mid-December until mid-may this year
